A double interface SD flash memory card includes a SD flash memory card and a USB adaptor. The SD flash memory card has a standard SD card interface and a circuit board, which has a microprocessor and flash memories. The USB adapter has at least a SD interface socket and a USB plug. The SD interface socket can be inserted with a SD flash memory card and the USB plug can be connected to other information devices. The double interface SD flash memory card includes a SD bus interface circuit for the SD flash card, a USB bus interface circuit for a system end, and an interface detection and switching circuit detect if there is an initialized signal from the system interface and switch to the SD bus interface circuit or the USB bus interface circuit based on result of the detection. The microprocessor can detect, identify, and support connecting signal of SD interface or USB interface automatically. When a signal is sent from the SD card interface or the USB card interface, the microprocessor will switch the circuit and relevant electronic elements in the circuit board to support the SD card or the USB card to access the data in the flash memories in the card.

Double interface SD flash memory card

This invention provides a universal flash memory card bank structure that can host various memory cards, comprising of an adaptor bank, a chassis, a top plate, and a bottom plate. The adaptors in the adaptor bank have sockets to host different memory cards. The adaptor bank is fixed on the chassis, and the sockets of it face against corresponding holes in the front of the chassis. The chassis with the adaptor bank is enclosed under the top plate and the bottom plate.

Universal flash memory card bank structure

The present invention relates to a common connector for memory cards and a switching arbitration method for the shared Pins of the connector, i.e., a common connector which allows many different types of memory cards to be inserted in and fixed at different times. A multiple of rows/sets of different types of Pins are devised on one side of a baseboard of the common connector. And particularly, a set of shared Pins enables identification of interface signals from SD/MMC cards or SM cards. Under the control of corresponding memory card detection switches and switching arbitration circuits, the shared Pins can be connected to interface signals from a SD/MMC card or a SM card. Therefore, such a structure not only reduces the size of the common connector but also supports a multiple of types of memory cards.

Common connector for memory cards and switching arbitration method for shared pins of a connector

The present invention relates to a common connector structure, which is a die-molded close receptacle with a socket to hold and fix different types of memory cards at different times. Said receptacle comprises of a set of leaf springs at both sides of the socket to detect and control the memory card inserted in the socket. A multiple of guiding and halt-protection elements are mounted at both sides of the socket to avoid miss-insertion of the memory card. Wherein, a multiple of rows/sets of Pins of different types are embedded on the baseboard in sequence, and the Pins extrude a little bit from the receptacle at one end to contact the corresponding interface jacks of the memory card; while they rises from the baseboard vertically to at the other end.

Common connector with embedded pins

A multi-specification read/write signal transmission module for silicon disks, it is provided on the center of a &ldquo;U&rdquo; shaped base with a partitioning plate, an upper and a lower lid, so that the base is formed therein a first and a second receiving chamber. The first receiving chamber is provided therein at least with a vertically contacting pin set, and the second receiving chamber is provided therein at least with a horizontally contacting pin set, in order that when silicon disks with different specifications are individually inserted into the first or the second receiving chamber, they can contact respectively with the vertically contacting pin set or the horizontally contacting pin set. In this way, the module of the present invention can suit all the silicon disks.

Multi-specification read/write signal transmission module for silicon disks

A combined flash memory card driver can be built in or externally connected to a computer or any other digital product to meet consumers' needs for data storage with the flash memory cards. The combined flash memory card driver provides a kind of universal socket suitable for SM, MMC, MS, and SD cards and another kind of universal socket suitable for Type I and Type II CF cards or Type I, Type II and Type III PC cards to access data in any of above flash memory cards. In addition to support all flash memory cards, shortcomings such as easy resulting in confusion, misunderstanding and damage caused in the conventional flash memory card drivers due to a design with three sockets and a transmission unit thereof combining IDE/ATAPI, USB, PCMCIA, and 1394 interfaces.

The XD memory card adapter of the present invention is comprised of an adapter board, a first pin set, a second pin set and a plurality of connecting lines; it can be used in cooperating with a memory card reading/writing device. The memory card reading/writing device has at least an insertion slot having therein a memory card electric interface, and is characterized by that: the adapter board can be inserted into the insertion slot to make connection of the first pin set with the memory card electric interface in the insertion slot; and the adapter board is provided on the side in opposition to the first pin set with the second pin set, the first pin set is connected with the second pin set via the connecting lines. When an XD memory card is inserted into the insertion slot, the input/output pins of the XD memory card can be electrically connected with the second pin set, and is communicated with the first pin set through the connecting lines to thereby render the reading/writing device to proceed data writing and reading on the XD memory card.

XD memory card adapter

A silicon disk drive with few slots for plural disks capable of being built in or externally connected with a main frame of a computer or any digital product, it satisfies the requirements of consumers of various groups of people by the function of reading and writing silicon disks (portable memory cards). The silicon disk drive provides a slot to suit insertion of SM, MM, MS and SD cards, and provides another slot to suit insertion of Type I, Type II or Type I CF card, or Type II or Type III PCMCIA card, in this way, data in the files of any of the above silicon disks can be read and written. And it can be assisted with provision of the design of the IDE/ATAPE, USB or 1934 delivery unit, in order that the silicon disk drive having a single slot or two slots not only for reading and writing on and for insertion of the now available silicon disks, but also for solving the long pending problems of confusing, misleading and being subjected to damage of the conventional techniques with more than three slots.

The present invention discloses a high-speed serial bus power supply device to connect a 4-PIN cable receptacle and a USB interface socket on a notebook. It includes a first connector, which is a common 6-PIN cable receptacle and can be connected to an appropriate interface; a second connector, which is a 4-PIN cable plug connected to the first connector and can be inserted into the said 4-PIN cable receptacle of the notebook; and a USB plug, which is also connected to the first connector and can deliver power to the serial port through said USB interface socket which is connected to the notebook.

High-speed serial bus power supply device

The present invention provides a tray-style flash memory drive that can be embedded in or externally connected to a computer system or a digital electronic product to enable the computer system or digital product to access various memory cards (flash memory cards). The flash memory drive includes a case, a base in the case, and a tray that can on the base. A circuit board is provided in the case, and the circuit board has a signal transmission unit and a plurality of contacts. A plurality of terminals is provided at the bottom of the tray. When the tray slides out of the base, and a memory card is placed in it, the terminals contact the I/O pins of the memory card. When the tray slides backward into the base, the terminals contact the contacts on the circuit board electrically. Thus, data stored in the memory card can be transmitted via the transmission unit.

Tray-style flash memory drive

The tray-type connecting module for electronic memory cards of the present invention is comprised of a base placed on an electric circuit board and a tray openable and closable by sliding on the base for opening and closing. Wherein the bottom of the base is provided with a plurality of through holes in opposition to a plurality of connecting points on the electric circuit board. The bottom of the tray is provided in corresponding to the through holes with a plurality of pins; when the tray is moved to slide for opening in order to receive an electronic memory card, the pins contact with the input/output pins on the electronic memory card; and when the tray is moved to slide for closing, the pins of the tray are in alignment with the through holes, and are electrically connected with the connecting points on the electric circuit board via the through holes.

Tray-type connecting module for electronic memory cards

The portable CD player and burner is provided for integrating a CD-ROM player and a video/acoustic player used respectively on two different systems including a computer and a video/acoustic household electric appliance at the terminal of a device. The portable CD player and burner mainly is comprised of a housing, a CD reading/writing unit, an operating unit, a main board, a multiplexer, a CPU, a memory unit, a signal converting unit and at least an output/input unit. When a CD is placed in, signals can be transmitted to the systems of the computer or the video/acoustic household electric appliance, or the data of the computer can be transmitted to the CD reading/writing unit by using the above stated elements for outputting and inputting respectively.

Portable CD player and burner

This invention provides a tray-style memory card connector comprising of a base and a main body that can slide smoothly on the base. The base has a plug structure on one end, which has a guide groove on each side. There is a retracting structure on the base, and when it is pressed down, the main body will separate from the base. There is a container on the said main body to contain a memory card. At each side of the container there is a groove. A slide rail is mounted between the groove and the guide groove. In this way, the main body can slide smoothly on the base.

Tray-style memory card connector

A double interface compact flash memory card includes a frame and a USB interface unit. The frame contains at least a flash memory chip and a bridge circuit board module, a compact flash memory interface at one side, and a socket at the other side. The socket can accommodate a USB interface unit at one side thereof. The USB interface unit has several positioning grooves at the hinge end, which can be caught with a locating projection on the socket so that the USB interface can be located at different angular positions as desired.

Double interface compact flash memory card

A silicon disk card with a USB plug includes an electric circuit board with at least one flash memory and a bridging chip, and a module in the shape of a rectangular frame formed by injection molding of plastic. The module is provided on one side thereof with an interface pin board, and on the opposite side thereof with a slot to receive the USB plug therein, the slot having a leading function to lead the USB plug out of the module. The silicon disk card with the USB plug has the function of twin interface data transmitting, the bridging chip being used therein to decide which interface is seeking access to data in the flash memories.
