A space-efficient container data center with cooling devices extending outside but which can be retracted for ease of container transport includes a cabinet and a function module. The cabinet includes a plurality of plates and a bottom. A first one of the plates defines a plurality of spaced openings. At least one door is rotatably attached to the side beside each opening. A support member is rotatably attached to the plates near a bottom edge of each opening. The door and the support members are rotated to open each opening and the support members are aligned with the bottom to allow the function modules to slide outwards to an extended working position on the bottom and the support members, or inwards for compactness.

Container data center

A chassis in a device housing includes a housing of the housing, a hard disk drive, and a fastening apparatus. The housing includes a backplane and a side plate defining an opening. The hard disk drive defining an opening is electrically coupled to the backplane. The fastening apparatus includes a connecting member and a fastening member. The connecting member includes a connecting post. The connecting post defines a mounting hole. Two locking protrusions protrude from the connecting post. A raised portion protrudes from an inside wall of the mounting hole. The fastening member includes an urging portion. The fastening apparatus is coupled between the hard disk drive and the side plate. The fastening member is mounted in the mounting hole, and the raised portion is urged by the urging portions. The connecting post undergoes elastic deformation, and the locking protrusions are locked in the openings.

Chassis with fastening apparatus

An electronic device includes a housing defining a number of vents. A suction member is mounted in the housing and includes a hollow air guiding tube defining a plurality of air holes for a plurality of air shields to selectively shield or unshield each air hole. Two fans are disposed at opposite ends of the air guiding tube and aligned with the plurality of vents of a side plate. A number of electronic components which require cooling are mounted and located at each side of the suction member and the air shields can be removed or left in place as required to collect heat which is generated.

Electronic device with cooling facility

A container data center includes a cabinet and a function module. The cabinet includes a plurality of sides and a bottom. A first one of the sides defines a plurality of spaced openings. At least one door is rotatably attached to the side beside each opening. A support member is rotatably attached to the sides near a bottom edge of each opening. The door and the support members are rotated to open each opening and the support members are aligned with the bottom to allow the function modules to slide on the bottom and the support members.

A mounting apparatus includes a bottom plate, a supporting frame supported by the bottom plate for receiving a HDD, a receiving frame attached to the bottom plate, a latching member slidably coupled to the supporting frame, and a first elastic member coupled with the latching member. The supporting frame includes a base plate detachably engaging with the bottom plate, two opposite side plates each defining at least one through hole, two pivoting plates pivotably coupled to the side plates, and an extending plate defining an opening. The latching member includes an inserting block to extend through the opening of the extending plate under a resilient force of the first elastic member. Each pivoting plate includes at least one inserting post for extending through the through hole of the corresponding side plate and engaging in the HDD.

Mounting apparatus for hard disk drive and electronic device

An electronic device includes a cabinet, a number of chasses received in the cabinet, a number of first slide rails mounted to the cabinet, a second slide rail mounted to each chasses fitting about the corresponding first slide rail, a rotating member connected to the cabinet, and a resilient member installed between the rotating member and the cabinet. The rotating member includes an abutting bar and a stopper bar opposite to the abutting bar. A front end of each second slide rail forms a first guiding surface. A block protrudes from the front end of each second slide rail. When one of the chasses is pulled out from the cabinet, the first guiding surface abuts against the abutting bar to rotate away from the chasses, the stopper bar is rotated to adjacent to the chasses to latch the blocks of the other chasses, and deforming the resilient member.

Slide rail interlocking apparatus and electronic device having the same

An electronic device includes an enclosure and a first bracket coupling in the enclosure. The enclosure includes two opposite side walls. The first bracket includes a first shell for mounting a number of hard disk drives and a resilient first latching member. The first shell includes two opposite side plates. Two distal ends of the side plates are rotatably coupled to the side walls of the enclosure. The first latching member is mounted to the distal end of one of the side plate. The first latching member includes a positioning portion abutting against an inner surface of the corresponding side wall, to deform the first latching member.

Electronic device

An electronic device includes a chassis having two side walls, two data storage devices, two supporting devices, and a bezel. Each side wall defines a lock hole. Each supporting device includes a bracket, a pair of lock pieces, and a pair of connecting members. The bracket includes two opposite side plates each defining a lock opening. Each lock piece includes two clasp members. Each connecting member includes two second poles. The first clasp members extend through the lock openings and insert into the lock holes. The second clasp members of the front supporting device are detachably coupled to the bezel, and the second clasp members of the rear the supporting devices are detachably coupled to the front supporting device. The second poles of the front supporting device are coupled to the bezel, and the second poles of the rear supporting device are coupled to the front supporting device.

Supporting device and mounting apparatus for data storage device and electronic device having the same

A removable fan module for an electronic apparatus includes a fan connectable to an external power source through a first connector and a chassis removably insertable into the electronic apparatus. The chassis includes a main plate, a first side plate, a second side plate, a first end plate, a second end plate, and a resilient plate extending from the first end of the main plate. A first and second protuberance extends outward from each side edge of the main plate. A first and second tab extends outward from an outer surface of each side plate adjacent the main plate. A latch protrudes from the distal end of the resilient plate. The chassis is attachable to the electronic apparatus by pressing the distal end of the resilient plate toward an opening in the electronic apparatus housing with the housing opening including two defined spaces extending outward from each opening edge.

Electronic apparatus

A hard disk drive (HDD) module includes two cartridges for receiving two HDDs. Each cartridge includes a bottom tray and a top cover adjustably connected to the bottom tray. Each top cover includes a top plate located above the corresponding bottom tray. The cartridges are arranged up and down. The bottom tray of the upper cartridge is fastened to the top cover of the lower cartridge.

Hard disk drive module

A server cabinet includes a bottom wall, a top wall, two opposite side walls, two air inlet tubes each with a number of openings, a number of servers, a number of air distributing tubes received in the servers, a number of rotating members rotatably installed to the air inlet tubes, and a number of resilient members installed to the air inlet tubes. Each server defines a number of vents aligning with the corresponding openings of the air inlet tubes. Each air distributing tube communicates with the vents of the corresponding server. The air inlet tubes are attached to the side walls. Each air distributing tube defines a number of air outlets communicating with the corresponding server. Each rotating member includes a shielding plate. Each resilient member abuts against the corresponding shielding plate to cover the corresponding opening of the air inlet tubes.

Server cabinet

A mounting apparatus for a data storage device defining mounting holes in opposite first side and second side, the mounting apparatus includes a mounting plate, a first mounting member mounted to the mounting plate, a second mounting member mounted to the mounting plate, a pivoting member pivotably connected to a first side of the data storage device, and a locking member pivotably connected to the pivoting member. The first mounting member includes a supporting piece and two tips. The second mounting member includes a locking piece and a block formed at an end of the locking piece. The locking member includes a locking portion. The tips engage in the mounting holes of a second side of the data storage device. The pivoting member is rotated to be located between the second mounting member and the data storage device, and the locking member is rotated to engage under the block.

Mounting apparatus of data storage device

A server cabinet includes a bottom side, a top side, a first side wall, a second side wall opposite to the first side wall, a first air inlet tube with a number of air outlets, a second air inlet tube with a number of air outlets, and a number of pairs of adjusting apparatuses. The first air inlet tube is attached to the first side wall and extends from the bottom side to the top side, the second air inlet tube is attached to the second side wall and extends from the bottom side to the top side and the top side and the bottom side are each configured with an opening to receive the first air inlet tube and the second air inlet tube. Each air adjusting apparatus comprises a slidable shielding plate substantially covering the corresponding air outlets.

A power supply positioning apparatus includes a bracket and a circuit board mounted in the bracket. The bracket defines a receiving slot for receiving a power supply unit. A connector is mounted on the circuit board and aligns with the receiving slot. A first end of the bracket is rotatably connected to a chassis of an electronic device, and a second end of the bracket can be latched to the chassis. The bracket faces outside of the chassis.

Electronic device and power supply positioining apparatus thereof

A data storage device assembly includes a chassis. The chassis includes a dividing plate. Two brackets are arranged on the dividing plate, and another two brackets are arranged at a bottom of the dividing plate. Each bracket receives a data storage device. The data storage device assembly includes four data storage devices arranged in the chassis, which can provide large capacity of data storage.
