A driving circuit that includes a plurality of sub-driving circuits and a plurality of first switching circuits is introduced. The sub-driving circuits is configured to supply a plurality of driving currents to drive a first group of light sources to emit light to form a first pixel on a display medium. The first switching circuits are respectively coupled to the sub-driving circuits and are configured to control the plurality of sub-driving circuits to supply the driving currents to the first group of light sources according to the pixel data, wherein a current value of each of the plurality of driving currents is corresponding to a bit order of a respective bit of the pixel data.

Circuit and method for driving light sources

A method for a driver circuit configured to drive a display panel includes steps of: outputting a plurality of control signals according to a first control timing scheme to control a multiplexing circuit comprising a plurality of switches disposed in the display panel in a first operation mode; and outputting the plurality of control signals according to a second control timing scheme to control the multiplexing circuit in a second operation mode. Wherein, the first control timing scheme comprises a pre-charge period in which the plurality of switches of the multiplexing circuit are turned on, and the second control timing scheme comprises no pre-charge period.

A display device driving method, suitable for a driver circuit, includes the following steps: determining magnitude of a plurality of data voltages according to received display data, and the plurality of data voltages are configured to be transmitted to a plurality of pixel circuits via a plurality of data lines; comparing the magnitude of the plurality of data voltages to generate a comparison result; and before providing corresponding ones of the plurality of data voltages to a first pixel group arranged at an i-th row of the plurality of pixel circuits, providing a first reset voltage having a value determined according to the comparison result to the plurality of data lines, or providing a second reset voltage to m data lines selected according to the comparison result from the plurality of data lines, i is a positive integer, and m is an integer.

Display device driving method and related driver circuit

A display driving device and a method for driving a display are provided. The display driving device includes a host and a driving chip. The host transmits an image data and a synchronization signal. The driving chip receives the image data and the synchronization signal and drives a display panel to display frames. The driving chip includes a storage unit, a driving module, and a control circuit. The storage unit stores the image data. The driving module drives the display panel to display the frames according to the image data from the host and a timing generator frequency of the driving module. The control circuit detects a target frequency of the synchronization signal and the timing generator frequency of the driving module, compares the target frequency and the timing generator frequency, outputs an adjustment value according to the comparison result, and adjusts the timing generator frequency of driving module.

Display driving device and method for driving display

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for detecting word line leakage in a memory device includes coupling a first word line in the memory device to a voltage source while coupling a second word line in the memory device to a ground level voltage. Next, the first word line is decoupled from the voltage source. The method also includes comparing a current of the first word line with a predetermined reference current for determining a leakage condition of the word line.

Apparatus and method for detecting word line leakage in memory devices

Some embodiments of the present invention provide a memory device including a first memory array having a first word line and a comparator circuit having a first terminal coupled to a reference voltage and a second terminal coupled to a first switch selectively coupling the first word line to a power source or the second terminal. In an embodiment, the reference voltage is selected for identifying a leakage condition associated with the first word line. In another embodiment, the first switch is configured to couple the first word line to the power source for a first predetermined period of time to allow charging of the first word line. In another embodiment, the first switch is configured to couple the first word line to the second terminal of the comparator for at least a second predetermined period of time.

A method for detecting word line leakage in a memory device includes coupling a first plurality of word lines in the memory device to a voltage source while grounding a second plurality of word lines. Each of the second plurality of word lines is adjacent to a corresponding one of the first plurality of word lines. The method includes waiting for a period of time to allow the word lines to reach a predetermined read voltage level. The method also includes decoupling the first plurality of word lines from the voltage source and waiting for a second predetermined period of time to allow the first plurality of word lines to discharge. The method further includes sensing a current associated with the word lines, and comparing the current with a predetermined reference current which is selected for identifying a word line leakage condition associated with the first plurality of word lines.
