A piezoelectric motorization system has a mechanically flexible body that has one or more surfaces for placing piezoelectric actuators. The system has groups of piezoelectric actuators each positioned on one of the surfaces of the mechanically flexible body that is connected to the electronic circuitry. The electronic circuitry controls the driving of the mechanical loads by the mechanically flexible body by injecting sets of control signals into different groups of actuators positioned on the mechanically flexible body. Each control signal operates groups of driving frequencies with an adjustable amplitude ratio and an adjustable phase difference among driving frequencies. And, under a set of boundary conditions exhibited by a set of structural dimensions of the mechanically flexible body, each control signal induces multi-mode resonance of the mechanically flexible body for driving the mechanical loads multi-dimensionally.

Piezoelectric apparatus for motorization

The invention discloses a method for transmitting digital contents between devices. First digital contents are modulated into an audio signal in a first device, wherein the first digital contents include contact information and at least one index of at least one second digital content. The audio signal is outputted by at least one audio generator of the first device and then received by at least one audio receiver of a second device. The audio signal is demodulated in the second device to make the second device obtain the first digital contents. The second device obtains the at least one second digital content according to the at least one index of the at least one second digital contents through a wired or wireless communication.

A method of making a nonfluoropolymer electret film is provided. The method may include: providing a polymer-containing solution, the polymer-containing solution comprising at least one polymer material, at least one solvent, and at least one surfactant, spreading the polymer-containing solution to provide a wetting polymer film, removing at least a portion of the solvent in the wetting polymer film to provide a polymer film, and conducting a Corona charging to the polymer film to form the electret film.

A sound-generating device comprises at least two first enclosures and a thin film. The at least two first enclosures with at least one first bendable element coupled between two neighboring first enclosures. The thin film comprising at least one electrode and at least one piezoelectric layer, the at least one electrode being coupled with a terminal of an audio signal output, wherein the at least one piezoelectric layer is configured to respond to a signal supplied by the audio signal output and to generate sound waves. The thin film and the at least two first enclosures are coupled together forming at least two first cavities between the thin film and the first enclosure, and the first bendable element is attached to the thin film.

Flexible piezoelectric sound-generating devices

An actuator and a method for using the same are provided. The actuator includes a flexible element and a photoelectric layer. The flexible element includes an elastic layer or a piezoelectric layer. The photoelectric layer is disposed on a side of the flexible element. An electrical characteristic of the photoelectric layer is determined according to an irradiation condition of the photoelectric layer.

Actuator and method for using the same

A control device for suppression of residual vibration of a piezoelectric transducer includes a capacitive energy storage component, and a switch unit. The control device is operable in a non-working mode, in which the switch unit provides voltage on the capacitive energy storage component to the piezoelectric transducer for reducing the residual vibration of the piezoelectric transducer. The capacitive energy storage component has a capacitance value that is sufficient for enabling the voltage on the capacitive energy storage component to substantially track voltage on the piezoelectric transducer under the non-working mode.

A sound-generating device comprises a first enclosure having at least one first electrode and a first piezoelectric layer, a first terminal of an audio signal output being coupled to the at least one first electrode of the first enclosure, a second enclosure having at least one first electrode and a first piezoelectric layer, and a first bendable element coupled between the first and second enclosures. The at least one first electrode is coupled with the first terminal of the audio signal output. The first piezoelectric layer of the first enclosure and the first piezoelectric layer of the second enclosure are configured to respond to the signal supplied by the audio signal output and to generate sound waves.

An ultrasonic distance-measuring sensor assembly and an ultrasonic distance-measuring sensor thereof are disclosed. Flexible electret actuators and methods of manufacturing the same

A speaker system that includes an audio signal-receiving interface, a modulating circuit, a phase-control circuit, and a number of speaker units. The audio signal-receiving interface is configured to receive an audio signal, and the modulating circuit is coupled with the audio signal-receiving interface. The modulating circuit is configured to modulate a low frequency component of the audio signal and to generate a modulated signal. The phase-control circuit is coupled with the modulating circuit and the audio signal-receiving interface. The phase-control circuit is configured to receive the modulated signal and a high-frequency component of the audio signal and to control a phase of the modulated signal, a phase of the high-frequency component of the audio signal, or both. An ultrasound transducer has a cup-shaped casing. The cup-shaped casing has a sidewall. A cross section of an inner surface of the sidewall being perpendicular to a central axis of the ultrasound transducer substantially shows a dumbbell-shaped contour.
