An integrally formed bearing free pedal includes a central axle and a pedal body. The pedal body has a rotation axis, and is provided with an axle bore formed along the rotation axis. The central axle has an installation portion and an opposite combination portion. The central axle and the pedal body are integrally molded. The combination portion is disposed in the axle bore. A rotation gap is formed between the periphery of the central axle and the axle bore, so as to allow the central axle to rotate with respect to the pedal body along the rotation axis. Thus, the pedal has no bearings and other related components, so as to be structurally simple, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.

Manufacturing method of integrally formed bearing free pedal

A foldable pedal includes a connection member, a shaft, a pedal body, and an engagement device. The connection member includes a first and a second connection ends along a first axis. The shaft includes a first and a second ends. The first end is pivotally connected with the second connection end along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis, so that the shaft pivots with respect to the connection member. The pedal body includes a shaft bore receiving the second end. The engagement device is on the connection member and switches between engagement and release positions. At the engagement position, the engagement device is engaged with the first end, and the shaft is coaxial with the first axis. At the release position, the pedal body is foldable to the crank, preventing direct effect of pedaling force and reducing distance between the pedal and the crank.

A bicycle handgrip device includes a first handgrip, a second handgrip, and a light. The first handgrip defines a first axis, with a first connection end and a second connection end disposed on two ends thereof. The first handgrip is mounted around the handlebar of a bicycle through the first connection end. The second handgrip is removably combined to the second connection end. The second handgrip defines a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and pointing at the ground surface. The light is disposed on the second handgrip for projecting light beam on the ground surface. Therefore, the light provides illumination and a warning light signal at different distances. Also, the handgrip device can be gripped in different directions, so that the user is allowed to adjust the gripping position for lowering habitual motion fatigue.

The present invention provides a chain wheel assembly and chain wheel device using it, wherein the chain wheel device includes a driver, a switching sleeve, plural chain wheels with different diameter sizes, plural connectors, and a fastener. Therein, the driver is connected to a wheel hub of a back wheel of a bicycle for transmitting a torque. One end of the switching sleeve is screwed to the driver. The chain wheels, axially stacked from the largest one to the smallest one, are disposed in a direction from the driver toward the switching sleeve, with sprockets disposed on the periphery of each chain wheel, respectively, for optionally engaging chain. The ring-shaped connectors are coupled between each two of the chain wheels, respectively. The fastener is screwed to the other end of the switching sleeve for axially fixing the switching sleeve.

A ratchet hub using a magnetic force for restoration as disclosed has a freewheel unit and a ratchet ring thereof forming a unidirectional ratchet mechanism and a magnetic assembly using a magnetically repulsive force to normally make the freewheel unit and ratchet ring engage mutually and allow force transmission therebetween. Once a force disengaging the freewheel unit from the ratchet ring surpasses the magnetically repulsive force, the ratchet ring is pushed away from the freewheel unit. When the force disengaging the freewheel unit from the ratchet ring disappears, the magnetically repulsive force automatically and promptly returns the ratchet ring to engage with the freewheel unit again.

A sensing unit for a bicycle speedometer is disclosed. The bicycle speedometer has a meter body and the sensing unit for detecting pedaling and generating a signal related to bicycle pedaling. The sensing unit includes a sensor mounted on a bicycle frame and a fixture for carrying a sensed member. The fixture has a fixing end coupled with a bicycle crank and a coupling arm for carrying the sensed member. The fixture allows positional adjustment of the sensed member with respect to the bicycle crank, thereby facilitating aligning the sensed member with the sensor, so as to ensure proper sensing of the sensor to the sensed member.

A set of angle-adjusting head parts includes upper and lower head parts respectively mounted on top and bottom ends of a bicycle's head tube holding a front fork stem. The upper head parts include an upper bearing cup having an axially extending oval slot and two retaining surfaces arranged parallelly with the major axis of the oval slot at laterals, an upper bearing having an eccentric slot for receiving the front fork stem and an eccentric seat for engaging into the oval slot, and an adjusting washer mounted in the upper bearing cup and movable along the minor axis of the oval slot and having a circular opening for receiving the upper bearing. Rotating the upper bearing forces the eccentric seat to stop against the retaining surfaces and synchronously move the adjusting washer along the major axis of the oval slot, thereby biasing the angle of the front fork stem.

A tensioner nut includes a preload adjusting assembly settled on an upper end of a steering tube of a bicycle, a fixing anchor settled below the steering tube, a cable connecting between the preload adjusting assembly and the fixing anchor, and a bolt of the preload adjusting assembly for tensioning the cable. Thereby, when the bolt is tightened, it tensions the cable and the preload adjusting assembly is pulled downward to give a preload to a stem mounted around the steering tube.

A multi-function pedal includes a body, wherein a pivot hole is disposed in the center for connection to the crank of a bicycle; a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first surface is sloping at a predetermined gradient while the second surface is approximately parallel to the body. The first surface includes a first pedal set for a road-racing purpose and the second surface includes a second pedal set for a cross-racing purpose.

Multi-function pedals for bicycles

A bicycle pedal comprises a central block combined with an upper block settled thereon and with a lower block settled thereunder. The central block, the upper block and the lower block are all formed in one piece, respectively. Further, the upper block and the lower block are identical in shape and have the same features because they are formed by means of an identical mold. The central block has an axial bolt tube and two stepping portions. The upper block and the lower block each provides a receiving portion, a plurality of ribs and two stepping portions. Thereby, when the receiving portions engage the axial bolt tube, the stepping portions of the central block, the upper block and the lower block can be combined as a stepping frame by means of a plurality of fastening components.

A ball bearing assembly for a bicycle comprises a outer race, a ball cage, settled in the outer race, a cap, having a center hole and a ring portion extended axially from the periphery of the center hole, an inner race, with the inner surface thereof closely surrounding the outer surface of the ring portion, and a packing ring which is in an annular shape and having an annular flange around the bottom outer edge so that when the cap is put over the outer race to make the ball cage press upon the ball cage, the packing ring can be inserted into the center hole of the cap, and the flange is retained around the bottom of the ball cage. The disclosed ball bearing assembly is characterized by improved assembling accuracy and automatic center adjusting function.

Ball bearing assembly for bicycle

An expander nut is for being assembled to an upper end of a steering tube of a bicycle. The expander nut includes a base nut, two wedge halves having interlocking tapered surfaces and assembled to the base nut, a top cap mounted on the wedge halves, and a bolt screwed to the base nut for controlling the wedge halves to slide relatively along the tapered surfaces so that the wedge halves move outward to wedge an inner surface of the steering tube.

A folding pedal is disclosed to include a pedal body, which has a center spindle pivotally connectable to a crank of a bicycle, and two pedal blocks that are respectively pivotally coupled to top and bottom sides of the pedal body and turnable relative to each other between a first position where the two pedals are closed together and extending in same extending direction of the center spindle and a second position where the two pedals are opened and respectively extending in direction perpendicular to the center spindle.

A capacitor charging device for a flash, finishes charging the flash capacitor in a gradual manner. It has a flash capacitor, a voltage transforming circuit, a voltage mode pulse width modulation (PWM) control circuit and a charging control circuit. The charging control circuit has a time control capacitor to make the pulse width of the pulse voltage output from the voltage mode PWM control circuit increase gradually. The voltage transforming circuit is driven to provide a gradually increasing induced current to the flash capacitor to reduce the damage of the external circuit, flash capacitor and rechargeable battery.
