The current disclosure describes techniques for individually selecting the number of channel strips for a device. The channel strips are selected by defining a three-dimensional active region that include a surface active area and a depth/height. Semiconductor strips in the active region are selected as channel strips. Semiconductor strips contained in the active region will be configured to be channel strips. Semiconductor strips not included in the active region are not selected as channel strips and are separated from source/drain structures by an auxiliary buffer layer.

Nanowire stack GAA device with selectable numbers of channel strips

A MOSFET structure including stacked vertically isolated MOSFETs and a method for forming the same are disclosed. In an embodiment, the method may include depositing a first buffer layer over a substrate; depositing a first channel layer over the first buffer layer; depositing a second buffer layer over the first channel layer; depositing a second channel layer over the second buffer layer; depositing a third buffer layer over the second channel layer; etching the first buffer layer, the first channel layer, the second buffer layer, the second channel layer, and the third buffer layer to form a fin structure; etching the first buffer layer, the second buffer layer, and the third buffer layer to form a first plurality of openings; forming a first gate stack in the first opening disposed in the first buffer layer, a second gate stack in the first opening disposed in the second buffer layer, and a third gate stack in the first opening disposed in the third buffer layer; and replacing the second buffer layer and a portion of the second gate stack with an isolation structure.

Stacked vertically isolated MOSFET structure and method of forming the same

An angle-adjustable auxiliary vehicle mirror includes a base and a mirror. The base has a concave rest with a threaded hole. The mirror fits in a concave chamber of the base, with an auxiliary lens combined on top, having an arc-shaped convex formed at the bottom to engage with the concave rest. An opening is bored in the arc-shaped convex. A washer with a through hole is put on the arc-shaped convex. A screw is orderly inserted through the through hole and the opening to engage with the threaded hole to keep the mirror positioned, with the arc-shaped convex contacting with the concave rest. With the screw not tightly engaged with the mirror, the arc-shaped convex can axially slide on the concave rest to alter the angle of the mirror.

Angle-adjustable auxiliary vehicle mirror

A positioning device of a vehicle exterior auxiliary rear mirror includes a connecting base, two curved arms and two fixing arms. The connecting base is integrally formed on a back of an auxiliary rear mirror near a vehicle exterior rear mirror, shaped rectangular with two pivotal connecting points properly spaced apart at one side. The curved arms have one end pivotally connected with the connecting points of the connecting base, and another end provided with two locking projections and two positioning bands crossly extended for being tightened on a rear surface of the exterior rear mirror. With the curved arms able to alter their included angle and with the fixing arms extendable to change the length, the positioning device can be positioned on diverse exterior rear mirrors.
