A locking assembly for a Kensington-locked enclosure can be simply padlocked for security. The locking assembly includes a first connecting member and a second connecting member. The first connecting member is fixed on a base body of the enclosure, the first connecting member comprises a first tongue piece. The second connecting member is fixed on an upper cover of the enclosure, and the second connecting member comprises a second tongue piece. The first tongue piece and the second tongue piece protrude from an outside of the enclosure and fit each other, and a padlock can pass through the first tongue piece and the second tongue piece to lock the base body and the upper cover together and secure the attachment of the Kensington lock.

Locking assembly and enclosure using the same

A computer host system includes a housing and at least one of a top expansion frame and side expansion frames. The housing includes a front panel, a rear panel, a top panel, and side panels. The top panel and the side panels are detachably installed respectively on top and both sides of the front and rear panels. The top expansion frame is installed on top of the front and rear panels to expand an accommodating space at a top portion of the housing. The side expansion frames are installed on both sides of the front and rear panels and used to expand an accommodating space on both sides of the housing. The top expansion frame has a same cross-sectional shape as the top portion of the housing, and the side expansion frame has a same cross-sectional shape as a side of the housing.

Computer host system

The present disclosure provides a fixing device for fixing an external electronic component on a motherboard in a chassis. The fixing device includes a fixing block and a telescopic block. The fixing block is fixed on the chassis. One end of the telescopic block is slidably mounted in the fixing block, the other end protrudes from the fixing block and holds the electronic component. A chassis including the above-described fixing device to hold electronic components of different sizes is also provided.

An apparatus for mounting a hard disk drive unit and an optical disk drive unit to an electronic device includes a supporting bracket defining an accommodating space for the hard disk drive unit and the optical disk drives unit and a clip. The supporting bracket includes a connecting plate and a resilient latching member attached to the connecting plate and located within the connecting plate. The clip corresponds to the resilient latching member and is configured to be attached to the optical disk drive unit. The resilient latching member is switchable between a clip-locking position and a clip-unlocking position.

Mounting apparatus for disc drives and electronic device using the same

A reduced-volume all-in-one computer includes a shell, a display unit received in the shell, a supporting brace, a host adapter, and a transfer board. The display unit includes a display port. The supporting brace includes a base and a supporting member and the host adapter is received in the supporting member and integrates numerous electronic elements of a computer system. The electronic elements include a central processing unit, a memory chip, an image processor, and a memory. The transfer board in the supporting member includes a power port and a video port connecting to the display port. The transfer board is connected to the host adapter and forms a communication bridge between the host adapter and the display unit.

All-in-one computer

An electronic device shell can be configured to compactly receive at least one expansion card. The electronic device shell comprises a bottom plate, a front plate connected with a front end of the bottom plate, and a rear plate connected with a rear end of the bottom plate. The front plate is recessed away from the rear plate to form a first lead portion. The expansion card is located on the bottom plate and between the front plate and the rear plate. One end of the expansion card is secured on the rear plate, and the other end of the expansion card is received in the first lead portion.

An expansion card securing mechanism is configured to secure different kinds of expansion cards. The expansion card securing mechanism includes a base and a plurality of securing members which are secured on the base. The base includes a latch portion. The latch portion defines a plurality of latch holes, the securing member can be secured in the latch hole. Each securing member defines a cavity, the latch hole and the cavity can receive different kinds of expansion cards to secure the expansion cards.

A connector includes an insulation body, a first pin row, a second pin row, a first connection terminal row and a second connection terminal row. The insulation body includes a division portion and defines a first receiving groove and a second receiving groove positioned at two opposite sides of the division portion. The first pin row and the second pin row are attached to two opposite sides of the division portion. One of the ends of the first connection terminal row electrically connect to a motherboard, the other one of the ends of the first connection terminal row connect to the first pin row. One of the ends of the second connection terminal row electrically connect to the motherboard, the other one of the ends of the second connection terminal row connect to the second pin row. The disclosure also provides a data cable to connect the connector.

An electronic device includes an enclosure, a circuit board mounted in the enclosure, an electronic component attached to the circuit board, an antenna module mounted to the electronic component, and a mounting apparatus configured to mount the antenna module. The mounting apparatus includes a pressing member mounted on the circuit board. The mounting apparatus includes a pressing panel, a pressing block extending from the pressing panel, a positioning piece extending from the pressing panel, and a pressing piece extending from the pressing block. The pressing piece has a back wall. The pressing block presses the electronic component, the pressing panel presses the antenna module, and the back wall and the positioning piece abut against two adjacent sidewalls of the electronic component.

A computer includes an enclosure, a mainboard, a main antenna, and an auxiliary antenna. The enclosure includes an inner case and an outer cover. The mainboard is received in the inner case. The main antenna and the auxiliary antenna are mounted at an outer surface of the enclosure. The main antenna and the auxiliary antenna are electrically connected to the mainboard, respectively. The outer cover is mounted on the case and covers and protects the main antenna and the auxiliary antenna.

A computer enclosure includes a frame portion and a battery holding structure. The frame portion defines a battery receiving groove for receiving a battery, a first sliding groove and a second sliding groove communicating with the battery receiving groove. The battery holding structure includes a first locking member movably received in the first sliding groove, a second locking member movably received in the second sliding groove, and a spring. The first locking member includes a first latching block. The second locking member includes a second latching block. The spring is compressed between the second locking member and an inner surface of the second sliding groove and configured to provide a force to push the second latching block into the battery receiving groove. The first and second latching members can be pushed into the battery receiving groove to cooperatively latch the battery in the battery receiving groove.

An electronic device includes a main frame structure, a plurality of functional modules fixed to the main frame structure, a plurality of cables connecting the functional modules, a cable collector board fixed to the main frame structure, and a motherboard detachably connected to the main frame structure. The cable collector board includes a plurality of first printed circuits electrically collecting the cables, and a first connector electrically collecting the first printed circuits. The motherboard includes a plurality of second printed circuits and a second connector collecting the second printed circuits. The second connector is detachably electrically connected to the first connector.

A retention assembly for securing a hard disk to a frame of an electronic device, the retention assembly includes a bracket and a connector. The bracket is fixed to the hard disk. One of the frame and the bracket defining a guide groove, the other one forming a slide rail slidably received in the guide groove. The connector fixed to the frame and adjacent to the guide groove or the slide rail. The hard disk is electrically connected or disconnected to the connector by sliding the bracket along the guide groove or the slide rail.

An all-in-one computer includes a monitor, a motherboard, a power supply, and a support mechanism supporting the monitor. The support mechanism includes a base, and a support stand fixed on the base and connected to the monitor. The support stand defines a cavity to receive the motherboard and the power supply. The motherboard and the power supply are electrically connected to the monitor.

A retention assembly for securing a optical disc drive (ODD) to a main frame of an electronic device includes a bracket and a connector. The bracket is fixed to the ODD. One of the main frame and the bracket defines a guide groove, and the other includes a slide rail movably received in the guide groove. The connector is fixed to the main frame and adjacent to the guide groove or the slide rail. The ODD is aligned to electrically connect to the connector by the at least one guide groove or the at least one slide rail.
