Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and processes to optimize and manage fingerprint backward compatibility in deduplication backup computing systems. A new fingerprint is generated for a segment object stored in a data container based on a new fingerprinting process. A header file is modified by replacing an old fingerprint for the segment object based on an old fingerprinting process with the new fingerprint. An entry including information indicating an association between the old fingerprint and the new fingerprint is created in a fingerprint map file.

Fingerprint backward compatibility in deduplication backup systems

Disclosed are a segmented sentence recognition method and device for a human-machine intelligent question-answer system. One particular embodiment of the method includes: receiving a current sentence input by a user; inputting the current sentence into a pre-trained segmented sentence recognition model to obtain a first probability of the current sentence being a complete sentence, wherein the segmented sentence recognition model is used for determining the first probability according to a probability corresponding to a Chinese language model of the current sentence and a probability corresponding to a recurrent neural network language model; and if the first probability is greater than a pre-set first threshold value, determining the current sentence to be a complete sentence. In the embodiment, a Chinese language model and a recurrent neural network language model are merged to obtain a segmented sentence recognition model for determining a probability of a current sentence being a complete sentence.

Segmented sentence recognition method and device for human-machine intelligent question answer system

The disclosed computer-implemented method for healing images in deduplication storage may include (i) detecting that a data segment stored within deduplication storage is corrupted by executing an algorithm on the data segment to generate a numerical identifier for the data segment and determining that the numerical identifier does not match a previously stored numerical identifier for the data segment, (ii) checking, during a backup operation, whether a digital fingerprint of a data segment of an image being backed up matches a digital fingerprint of the corrupted data segment that was taken prior to corruption and that is already stored within the deduplication storage, and (iii) appending the data segment from the image being backed up to a container that already contains the corrupted data segment rather than replacing the corrupted data segment. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Systems and methods for healing images in deduplication storage

In an approach to determining a relative position for each computer of a group of computers within a wireless network to a computer within the wireless network, a computer receives a set of digital image files from each computer and aggregates the set of digital image files into a panoramic digital image file. The computer generates a network map depicting a position of each of the computers based on the panoramic digital image file. The computer determines a relative position map for at least one computer based on the network map and the panoramic digital image file, wherein the relative position map provides a location of each computer of the group of computers with respect to the at least one computer. The computer receives input from the at least one computer, the input using the relative position map to send data to one or more of the group of computers.

A method for managing deduplication reference data may include (1) identifying multiple of data containers configured to store a plurality of deduplicated data segments that are referenced by multiple data objects within a deduplicated data system, (2) maintaining multiple reference databases including (i) a first reference database corresponding to a first subset of the data containers and (ii) a second reference database corresponding to a second subset of the data containers, the second subset differing from the first subset, (3) determining that a data object references at least one segment within a first data container within the first subset but does not reference any data segment within a second data container within the second subset and (4) updating the first reference database with information specifying that the data object references at least one data segment within at least one data container within the first subset of data containers.
