An automatic document feeder includes a horizontal feeding path, a curve feeding path, a scanning unit arranged in the horizontal feeding path, a motor, a movable document guider, an actuator, a feeding roller arranged in the horizontal feeding path, and a transmission structure. One end of the curve feeding path is connected with a common document inlet, the other end of the curve feeding path is connected with a middle of the horizontal feeding path. A gentle bending corner is formed at a junction area between the curve feeding path and the horizontal feeding path. The motor outputs a forward torque or a converse torque. The movable document guider is rotatably positioned near the gentle bending corner. The actuator is rotatably positioned near the gentle bending corner. The transmission structure is connected among the motor, the feeding roller and the actuator.

Automatic document feeder

An auto-adjusting separation mechanism, comprising: a bracket with at least one side arm, a sensor module arranged on the side arm, a rotary shaft arranged at the front end of the bracket; a separation roller set pivotally arranged on the rotary shaft, a sensor wheel arranged to couple with the sensor module, and a torque limiter arranged at the front end of the bracket; wherein, by monitoring the rotation of the sensor wheel with the sensor module, the separating force of the separation roller set is adjustable via a microcontrollers which is capable to adjust the transmission gear set.

Auto-adjusting paper separation mechanism

The present invention is related to a scanning device for scanning documents, comprises a flat-bed scanning glass; a contact image sensor arranged above the flat-bed scanning glass separately to form a scanning path therebetween, a bottom surface of the contact image sensor being arranged with a protecting glass, a middle area of the protecting glass being configured as a scanning area, and a chamfer being arranged at the bottom surface of the protecting glass at a downstream position relative to the scanning area. Hence the dust of documents in this invention would be stacked in the chamfer during the scanning process temporarily and then be wiped away by the document itself, so as to assure the dust would not be stacked in the scanning area. The scanning device in this invention is capable to maintain the scanning quality without clearing the dust even after scanned a massive quantity of documents.

Scanner

A scanning device includes at least one motor, an input tray, a pickup roller, a separation roller module, an ultrasonic sensor, a scanning module, a path switcher and a controller. The pickup roller is connected with the at least one motor. The separation roller module is connected with the at least one motor. The ultrasonic sensor includes an ultrasonic emitter and an ultrasonic receiver. The ultrasonic sensor is used for sensing that a single paper or multiple papers are fed in. The scanning module is used for scanning a plurality of papers. The path switcher is connected with the at least one motor. The at least one motor is capable of driving the path switcher to be switched to a first position and a second position. The controller is connected with the at least one motor and the ultrasonic sensor.

Scanning device

A transmission device includes a driving motor, a separation roller module, a correction roller module, a discharging roller module, a first clutch, a second clutch, a third clutch and a plurality of sensors which are mounted to an automatic sheet feeder. The first clutch is disposed between the driving motor and the separation roller module. The second clutch is disposed between the driving motor and the correction roller module. The third clutch is disposed between the driving motor and the discharging roller module. The plurality of the sensors sense signal variations at the time of a leading end or a tail end of each of the documents passing through the plurality of the sensors, and the plurality of the sensors transmit the signal variations to the first clutch, the second clutch and the third clutch.

Transmission device

A driving device used in a paper separation mechanism includes an internal gear, an external gear sheathed around the internal gear, a shell of which an inner front face protrudes backward to form a hollow cylinder which the internal gear is sheathed around, an elastic element restrained between a front end of the internal gear and the inner front face of the shell, and a driving member rotatably on the rear of the shell. The driving device utilizes the cooperation of a guide block of the internal gear and a guide groove of spiral shape of the hollow cylinder, the cooperation of a locking arm of the shell and an outer ratchet of the external gear, the cooperation of a slope of the external gear and pushing blocks of the driving member to make a clockwise rotation angle of the driving member be greater than a counterclockwise rotation angle.

Driving device used in a paper separation mechanism

A transmission device for an automatic document feeder includes a driving gear set driven by a driving motor, a first swing arm equipped with a first driving roller set, a second swing arm equipped with a second driving roller set, and a one-way gear set driven by the driving gear set to keep transmitting rollers rotating in the same direction. The first swing arm is driven by the driving gear set and swingable between a first position and a second position to mesh the first driving roller set with a pickup device or an output device. The second swing arm is driven by the driving gear set and swingable between a third position and a fourth position to mesh the second driving roller set with the pickup device or the output device. When the first swing arm swings toward the first position, the second arm swings toward the fourth position, and when the first swing arm swings toward the second position, the second swing arm swings to the third position.

Transmission device for automatic document feeder

An automatic document feeder includes a paper transmitting path for guiding documents, a driving motor for providing driving torque, a pickup device disposed at the upstream of the paper transmitting path, an output device disposed at the downstream of the paper transmitting path and transmitting rollers disposed along the paper transmitting path for transmitting the documents, a first driving gear disposed between the pickup device and the output device, a transmitting gear swing arm equipped with a transmitting gear set and axially hinged with the first driving gear to swing according to the driving torque between a first position meshing the transmitting gear set with the pickup device and a second position idling the transmitting gear set, an actuator connected with the output device and a braking device disposed on the output device for locking the transmitting gear swing arm according to the position of the output device.

A transmission device of automatic document feeder includes a transmission gear assembly, a pickup transmission gear assembly, a paper-feed transmission gear assembly, a correction transmission gear assembly, a pressure transmission gear assembly and a turn-over transmission gear assembly. The transmission gear assembly includes a transmission roller, a first drive gear and a second drive gear. The pickup transmission gear assembly includes a pickup drive gear, a pickup swing arm and a pickup auxiliary swing arm. The paper-feed transmission gear assembly driven by the transmission gear assembly includes a paper-feed reverse gear and a paper-feed swing arm. And the correction transmission gear assembly and the paper-feed transmission gear assembly rotate towards the same direction. The pressure transmission gear assembly includes a pressure swing arm and a pressure actuating gear. The turn-over transmission gear assembly is driven by the first drive gear of the transmission gear assembly.

Transmission device of automatic document feeder

A paper feeding mechanism includes a mechanical frame, a gear assembly, a paper supply tray, a pickup assembly, a paper pressing assembly and a stopper assembly. The gear assembly includes a drive gear and a transmission gear. The paper pressing assembly includes a paper pressing frame, a paper pressing tray, a gear shaft, at least one swing arm and an elastic element. The stopper assembly includes a blocking element and a connecting element. The drive gear drives the transmission gear and the gear shaft to rotate, the connecting element drives the blocking element to move downward to make the blocking element realize a paper blocking function, and the drive gear breaks away from the drive gear, the elastic element pushes against the paper pressing tray to move downward, the blocking element breaks away from the paper supply tray to raise up for making the paper blocking function disappeared.

Paper feeding mechanism

A paper feeding mechanism includes a frame, a drive assembly mounted to the frame, an input tray, a pickup assembly driven by the drive assembly, an elevating assembly and a control assembly. A front end of the input tray is pivoted to the frame, a bottom of the input tray has a pressing portion. The elevating assembly includes a gear assembly driven by the drive assembly, a rotating shaft driven by the gear assembly and located under the input tray, and an elastic element against the bottom of the input tray. The rotating shaft has a cam portion thereon and a notch formed between two ends of the cam portion. The control assembly includes a control system and a paper sensor detecting whether there is any paper on the input tray and control the drive assembly to drive the elevating assembly and the pickup assembly.

An automatic paper feed device includes a mechanical frame, a paper supply tray mounted to the mechanical frame, at least one motor mounted to one side of the mechanical frame, an upper cover, a stopper mechanism, a paper pressing mechanism, a transmission mechanism, a feed mechanism and a control mechanism. The stopper mechanism includes a blocking element and a torsion spring. The paper pressing mechanism includes a pressing board, at least one pressing roller and an elastic element. The feed mechanism is pivotally mounted to the paper supply tray. The control mechanism controls the motor to rotate, the rotation of the motor drives the transmission mechanism to support or break away from the pressing board to make the pressing board slide upward or downward with respect to the paper supply tray and further abut against or break away from the blocking element.

Automatic paper feed device

A paper feeding mechanism includes a mechanical frame, a drive assembly mounted to the mechanical frame, an input tray, a pickup assembly driven by the drive assembly, an elevating assembly and a control assembly. The elevating assembly mounted to the mechanical frame and pivoted to a bottom of the rear end of input tray includes a drive shaft, a gear assembly and an elastic element. The rotating shaft defines two cam parts projecting beyond the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is capable of rotating to make the cam parts press downward on or break away from the input tray so as to drive the input tray to swing downward or swing upward under an elastic push action of the elastic element. The control assembly includes a control system and a paper sensor controlled by the control system for detecting whether there is any paper on the input tray.
