Provided are a method and device for correcting positions of tabs of an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly includes anode electrode plates and cathode electrode plates stacked alternately in a first direction. The method includes: determining whether there are a plurality of consecutive tabs misaligned with each other in a first electrode plate assembly; and adjusting, if there are a plurality of consecutive tabs misaligned with each other, a cutting position of the first electrode plate assembly to adjust a width of first electrode plates obtained after cutting, such that tabs of a plurality of first electrode plates obtained after cutting the first electrode plate assembly are aligned with each other, the first electrode plates being anode electrode plates or cathode electrode plates.

Method and device for correcting positions of tabs of electrode assembly

An electrode assembly includes a negative electrode plate, a positive electrode plate, and a separator disposed between the negative electrode plate and the positive electrode plate. The negative electrode plate, the positive electrode plate, and the separator are wound together around a winding axis to form the electrode assembly. The negative electrode plate is a continuous negative electrode plate extending from a foremost winding end to a hindmost winding end along a winding direction. The positive electrode plate includes a continuous positive electrode plate disposed along the winding direction as well as a single-sheet positive electrode plate and/or a long-sheet positive electrode plate disposed along the winding direction apart from the continuous positive electrode plate.

The method includes: acquiring cut hole position information of an anode electrode plate, and calculating a first width deviation value corresponding to the anode electrode plate according to the cut hole position information and a calibration width of the anode electrode plate; acquiring tab position information of a cathode electrode plate, and calculating a second width deviation value corresponding to the cathode electrode plate according to the tab position information and a calibration width of the cathode electrode plate; and when the anode electrode plate and the cathode electrode plate are stacked, adjusting a feed position of the cathode electrode plate according to the first width deviation value, and compensating for a cut width of the cathode electrode plate according to the second width deviation value.
