A polyvinylidene fluoride film composition and a polyvinylidene fluoride isolation film are provided. The polyvinylidene fluoride film composition includes a polyvinylidene fluoride, a polyetherimide, and a polyether-type nonionic surfactant. The weight ratio of the polyvinylidene fluoride to the polyetherimide is 1:1 to 19:1, and the content of the polyether-type nonionic surfactant is 0.1% to 10% by weight based on a total of 100% by weight of the polyvinylidene fluoride film composition.

A cathode of a lithium ion battery is provided. The cathode of a lithium ion battery includes a collector material. A first electrode layer including a lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) material is disposed on a surface of the collector material. A second electrode layer including an active material is disposed on the first electrode layer. The active material includes lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide (NMC), lithium nickel cobalt aluminum oxide (NCA), lithium cobalt oxide (LCO), Li-rich cathode material, or a combination thereof.

The adhesive composition includes 3&#x2dc;10 parts by weight of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), wherein the polyvinylidene fluoride includes two polyvinylidene fluorides with different weight average molecular weights ranging from 20000 to 3000000, and at least one of the polyvinylidene fluorides has a carboxyl group; 0.1-0.5 parts by weight of polyvinyl butyral (PVB); and 0.1-3 parts by weight of a conductive powder.

The lithium battery comprises an positive electrode plate having a first surface, a negative electrode plate having a second surface, a first thermal insulating layer and a separator. The first surface is opposite to the second surface. The thermal insulating layer is disposed on one of the first surface and the second surface. The thermal insulating layer is comprised of an inorganic material, a thermal activation material and a binder. The separator is disposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate.

Lithium battery and electrode plate structure

A lithium battery is provided. The lithium battery comprises a first plate, a second plate and a separator. The first plate is composed of a plurality of electrode material layers stacked on one another. At least one of the electrode material layers comprises a thermal activation material. The separator is disposed between the first plate and the second plate.

To form a brightness enhancement film of cholesteric liquid crystal, a photopolymerizable liquid crystal is first formed on a first substrate. A second substrate then is formed on the liquid crystal substance to form a sandwich structure. The sandwich structure is subsequently submitted to a lamination process that generates shear stress thereon. Finally, an energetic irradiation including UV irradiation is performed to solidify the layer of liquid crystal into a liquid crystal polymer film. The second substrate then is selectively removed. The above steps are repeated until a desired reflected wavelength range of the liquid crystal film is obtained.
