A cell for use in a power battery pack. The cell incudes a battery body having a length L, a width H, a thickness D, and a volume V. The length L is greater than the width H. The width H is greater than the thickness D. The battery body meets: 400 mm≤L≤2500 mm and 0.0005 mm≤L/V≤0.002 mm.

Power battery pack and electric vehicle

Provided are a power battery pack and an electric vehicle. The power battery pack includes: a pack body; and a plurality of cells, directly arranged in the pack body. The cell extends from a first side of the pack body to a second side of the pack body, and the first side and the second side are disposed opposite to each other. The first side of the pack body is provided with a first side wall, the second side of the pack body is provided with a second side wall, an end of the cell is supported by the first side wall, and the other end of the cell is supported by the second side wall.

A battery pack includes a controller, a battery core, a liquid leakage detector, and a pre-charge switch. The liquid leakage detector is connected with the controller, and the liquid leakage detector is configured to send a liquid leakage signal to the controller when detecting that liquid leakage occurs in the battery core. The controller is configured to prohibit sending a pre-charge on signal to the pre-charge switch upon receiving the liquid leakage signal while receiving a start signal for starting the battery core. The pre-charge switch is configured to prohibit connection of the pre-charge voltage end and the power output end when not receiving the pre-charge on signal, to prohibit the battery core from outputting a pre-charge voltage through the power output end.

A power battery base includes a tray and a liquid cooling tube disposed on the tray, wherein the tray includes a bottom plate and side plates disposed around the periphery of the bottom plate, the bottom plate and the side plates jointly form a receiving cavity for receiving a power battery pack, the bottom plate is provided with at least one beam, the beam divides the bottom plate into at least two sub-bottom plates, the liquid cooling tube is laid on at least one of the sub-bottom plates, and the liquid cooling tube is disposed across the beam that it passes through.

Battery module

A battery cover assembly includes a cover plate, an electrode inner terminal and an electrode outer terminal. The electrode inner terminal is electrically connected to the electrode outer terminal through a current interrupt structure disposed on the cover plate. The current interrupt structure includes a sealed chamber configured to fill a gas-producing medium therein. The sealed chamber is configured to make the gas-producing medium to be electrically connected to positive electrodes and negative electrodes of a battery. When a voltage difference between the positive electrodes and negative electrodes of the battery exceeds a rated value, the gas-producing medium is capable of producing gas, to disrupt the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal under the action of the pressure of the gas.
