The optical signal adjusting apparatus () includes a differential operation circuit (), a feedforward amplification circuit () and a control circuit (), wherein input ends of control circuit () are respectively connected to an output end of the differential operation circuit () and an output end of the feedforward amplification circuit (); the differential operation circuit () is configured to perform a differential operation on an input optical signal and an output optical signal, to obtain a differential value; the feedforward amplification circuit () is configured to perform feedforward amplification on the input optical signal, to obtain a feedforward value; and the control circuit () is configured to receive the differential value and the feedforward value, and adjusts the output optical signal according to the differential value and the feedforward value, to obtain an adjusted output optical signal.

An optical circuit includes: a multicast-and-select (MCS) switch and multiple optical selective devices coupled to output ports of the MCS switch. The selective devices may select a single optical channel by blocking some of wavelengths of light passing therethrough and passing at least one other wavelength. The selective devices may be wave blockers or tunable optical filters. The optical circuit further includes an optical amplifying array, wherein each amplifier has an input port optically coupled to one of the selective devices. At least some of the amplifiers have pump light ports for receiving at least a portion of the pump light from one or more laser pumps or from another of the optical amplifiers, wherein the pumps are capable of providing pump light sufficient to fully saturate all of the rare earth doped optical fibers in the array.

Provided by the embodiments of the present invention are a remote optical fiber dispersion compensation device and method, the dispersion compensation device comprising: a distance measurement module, used for measuring a remote distance to a remote access optical fiber; a channel monitoring module, used for monitoring the spectral power of a transmission service wavelength channel; and a remote optical fiber dispersion power equalization module, used for compensating the dispersion of a transmission service signal and adjusting the insertion loss of the wavelength channel according to the measured remote distance of the remote access optical fiber and the monitored spectral power of the transmission service wavelength channel. By employing the embodiments of the present invention, compensation amounts of different channels may be flexibly selected by means of a wavelength selection switch, dispersion may be compensated for remote optical fiber transmission and the insertion loss may be adjusted for different channels by presetting dispersion compensation optical fibers of different lengths, thus achieving compensation and equalization of dispersion and power difference introduced by remote optical fibers of different lengths.

An optical power and gain detection apparatus including multiple optical power detection circuits, an FPGA device, and a temperature detection circuit. Various optical power detection circuits include a respective independent photoelectric converter, a trans-impedance amplifier, an analog signal conditioning circuit, a filter and an analog-digital conversion chip. By improving an analog circuit, digital detection and control in an optical amplifier, the property of the FPGA device may be used to realize the detection of optical signal and gain in a burst mode, avoid increasing complicated analogue circuits, and avoid the influence caused by element inconsistency in an analogue control solution. Whether the optical signal is in a stable mode or in a burst mode, the algorithm can detect the optical power accurately and stably, with a wide application range. By strictly controlling the synchronism of ADC sampling and the delay of calculation, the amplifier gain may be calculated more accurately.
