Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an eMBMS system that includes a GW-C device connected to a mobility management entity and broadcast/multicast service center and a GW-U device connected to a base station and the mobility management entity. The GW-C device is configured to perform core network signaling interaction with the broadcast/multicast service center and the mobility management entity, and to send a forwarding indication message to the GW-U device. The GW-U device is configured to receive signaling from the base station and send the signaling to the GW-C device according to the forwarding indication message. The GW-C device is further configured to receive and process the signaling from the GW-U device. The GW-U device is further configured to send a received broadcast/multicast service data packet to the base station according to the forwarding indication message.

A flow entry timing processing method and an apparatus are provided, and relate to the computer field, to resolve a prior-art problem that processing time of a flow entry is not accurate enough. The method includes: receiving, by a forwarding plane device, a flow rule message sent by a control plane device, where the flow rule message includes an ineffective time of a flow entry and a time type identifier of the ineffective time; and when the time type identifier indicates that the ineffective time is an ineffective moment of the flow entry, performing, by the forwarding plane device, ineffectiveness processing on the flow entry according to the ineffective moment.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a switch processing method, a controller, a switch, and a switch processing system. The embodiments disclose a packet control method, a switch, and a controller. The method includes receiving, by a switch, a packet, and processing the packet according to a pipeline, where an original packet is stored in a buffer, and a buffer location of the original packet is identified by using a buffer identifier. The method also includes when the packet fails to match a flow table, sending, by the switch, a first packet message to a controller, where the first packet message carries the buffer identifier, all or partial content of the packet; receiving, a second packet message sent by the controller, where the second packet message carries the buffer identifier and a packet processing instruction, and the packet processing instruction includes indication information of a specified flow table. Additionally, the method includes reprocessing, the packet according to the packet processing instruction and starting at the specified flow table.

The flow table modifying method includes: receiving, by a switch, a modify flow entry message sent by a controller; searching, by the switch, a flow table corresponding to a flow table identifier for whether there is a flow entry matching to-be-modified target information; and in a case in which there is the flow entry matching the to-be-modified target information, changing, by the switch, a match field in the matched flow entry to a new match field. According to the flow table modifying method in an embodiment of the present invention, the switch searches the flow table corresponding to the flow table identifier for the flow entry matching the to-be-modified target information and changes the match field in the matched flow entry to the new match field.
