Disclosed herein are an apparatus, system, and method directed for an autonomous wellbore cleaner. In one embodiment, an apparatus for cleaning a wellbore, the apparatus comprising: an autonomous robot, wherein the robot is self-propelled; a power source for the robot; a motor for propelling the robot axially within the wellbore; at least one cleaning tool positioned on the robot; at least one sensor to detect an initiate-cleaning attribute downhole in the wellbore; and a processor to direct the robot to initiate a cleaning operation in response to the initiate-cleaning attribute exceeding a threshold.

Autonomous wellbore cleaning system

Mobile downhole tools with fairings and methods of using the same. A mobile downhole tool is introduced into a wellbore. The mobile downhole tool has a housing with a thickness sufficient to support a pressure differential between an interior surface of the housing and an exterior surface of the housing when the mobile downhole tool is disposed in the wellbore, and a fairing coupled to the exterior surface of the housing. The fairing is structurally distinct from the housing and is not connected to the interior surface of the housing. The fairing curves in a first direction that is away from the housing. The mobile downhole tool is propelled in the wellbore as the wellbore is produced such that the mobile downhole tool descends downhole against the upstream flow of a wellbore fluid.

Provided is a wellbore tractor, a well system and a method. The wellbore tractor, in one aspect, includes a tractor drive module, the tractor drive module configured to propel the wellbore tractor within a wellbore extending through one or more subterranean formations, and well as a tractor electronics module coupled to the tractor drive module, the tractor electronics module including one or more batteries. The wellbore tractor, according to this aspect, further includes a tractor power transfer module coupled to the tractor electronics module, the tractor power transfer module configured to receive power from a wellbore tractor charging station located within the wellbore and transfer it to the one or more batteries.

An expandable element isolation assembly and a well interval isolation device utilizing at least a pair of expandable element isolation assemblies to isolate a well interval are disclosed. An expandable element isolation assembly can comprise an expandable element, and at least one rigid support element that is located external to the expandable element and is positionable between at least part of the expandable element and an inner wall of a formation at an open-hole portion of a wellbore in response to expansion of the expandable element. The at least one rigid support element can reinforce the expanded expandable element, such as through physical contact therewith. A retraction mechanism may be provided to retract the at least one rigid support element upon contraction of the expandable element.

Methods to identify fluid holdups during downhole fluid sampling operations includes obtaining, using a sampling tool positioned within a wellbore, one or more fluid measurements using at least one sensor having a first set of spatial resolution, obtaining one or more second fluid measurements having a second spatial resolution, calculating a first fluid ratio using the at least one sensor having the first set of spatial resolution measurements, calculating a second fluid ratio of the second fluid measurements using the at least one sensor having the second set of spatial resolution, wherein the second set of spatial resolution is lower than the first set of spatial resolution, and identifying fluid holdup within the sampling tool when the differences between the two fluid ratios are higher than a limit or a similarity of the two fluid ratios are lower than a limit.

Disclosed embodiments relate to a pulsed-power drilling system, in which a pulsed-power drill is conveyed downhole and operated via coiled tubing. The coiled tubing may be configured to simultaneously transmit power and drilling fluid downhole. For example, the coiled tubing may include a flexible hollow fluid tube configured to transport drilling fluid therein, and a flexible cable tube disposed within the fluid tube. The cable tube may have one or more cable disposed within protective tubing, protecting the cables from drilling fluid in the fluid tube. Methods of making and using such coiled tubing with pulsed-power drills are also disclosed.

In general, in one aspect, embodiments relate to a method that includes assembling a downhole tool from a plurality of subassemblies with a robotic tool assembly disposed on a subsea tree at a sea-floor in a subsea environment. The method may also include introducing the downhole tool into a wellbore, traversing the wellbore with the downhole tool to reach one or more target depths, performing at least a wellbore operation with the downhole tool at the one or more target depths, and retrieving the downhole tool from the wellbore after performing the wellbore operation.

A method of creating a seal in a tubular by melting a first component comprising a fusible alloy, using heat produced by an exothermic, hydrolysis reaction of a second component comprising a metal, to provide a melted fusible alloy, and allowing the melted fusible alloy to solidify in the tubular, wherein the fusible alloy expands upon solidifying and forms the seal. A method and system for identifying a fault in a downhole tool. The method may comprise storing a plurality of diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from one or more previous downhole operations in a database, mapping the plurality of DTCs in the database, performing a downhole operation wherein a DTC is generated, and performing a determinative algorithm that uses pattern recognition to identify a fault caused by a DTC signature based on the one or more of the plurality of DTCs.

A first die is attached by a dielectric die attach material to the half-etched lead terminals. The first die includes first bond pads coupled to first circuitry configured for receiving a control signal and for outputting a coded signal and a transmitter. The second die includes second bond pads coupled to second circuitry configured for a receiver with a gate driver. The second die is attached by a conductive die attach material to the thermal pad. Bond wires include die-to-die bond wires between a portion of the first and second bond pads. A high-voltage isolation device is between the transmitter and receiver. A mold compound encapsulates the first and the second die.

A downhole anchoring mechanism configured to anchor a downhole tool assembly to a target location within an oilfield tubular. The anchoring mechanism comprises an anchor pad, a first arm coupled to a first hub and the anchor pad, and an extension mechanism coupled to a wedge hub and the anchor pad. The anchor pad is configured to extend radially outwards by the tapered surface of the wedge hub to engage an inner surface of a small oilfield tubular in response to the extension mechanism being configured in a deactivated mode. The anchor pad is configured to be extended radially outwards by the first arm and the extension mechanism to engage the inner surface of a large oilfield tubular in response to the extension mechanism being configured in an activated mode. The extension mechanism is a telescopic arm assembly or a sliding axle assembly.

This disclosure presents a method and process to improve the accuracy of the calculations for true vertical depth and Eastings and Northings pair of a borehole while drilling operations are in progress. The method utilizes continuous survey parameters that are collected while drilling operations are in progress, and that have been collected between two neighboring stationary survey parameters. The stationary survey parameters are assumed to be ground truth and are fused with an invertible solution to a low order polynomial to generate the true vertical depth and an Eastings and Northings pair at each continuous survey location. An objective function can be used to optimize and solve the polynomial. The method can be performed on a well site controller, a geo-steering system, a bottom hole assembly, or other computing system capable of receiving the collected measurements, performing the method steps, and communicating the resultant borehole position parameters to other systems.

A centralizer for a downhole probe disposed within a pipe, the centralizer having an elongated, primary tubular member with two or more elongated centralizer strip assemblies extending along the primary tubular member. Each strip assembly has inner and outer hollow portions on the wall of the primary tubular member and spaced apart from one another about the circumference of the wall. The outer portion of each strip assembly comprises a flexible outer spring, and the inner portion of the strip assembly comprises a flexible inner spring. The inner portions of the strip assemblies engage the outer diameter of a probe and the outer portions of the strip assemblies engage the inner diameter of a pipe.

Described herein are systems and techniques for monitoring for monitoring and evaluating conditions associated with a wellbore and wellbore operations that use neural operators instead of computationally intensive iterative differential equations. Such systems and techniques allow for determinations to be made as operations associated with a wellbore are performed. Instead of having to wait for computationally intensive tasks to be performed or take risks of proceeding with a wellbore operation without real-time evaluations being performed, these wellbore operations may be continued while determinations are timely made, thus improving operation of computing systems that perform evaluations and that make decisions regarding safely and efficiently performing wellbore operations such as drilling a wellbore, cementing wellbore casings in place, or injecting fluids into formations of the Earth.
