Disclosed are various embodiments for selecting page layouts based upon an outcome prediction associated with a request for a content page. Session variables associated with a request can be extracted. A score can be calculated based upon the session variables. The score can be generated by a machine learning engine that is trained using archived session data. A page layout can be selected based upon the generated score and a respective content page generated.

Generating a page layout based upon analysis of session variables with respect to a client device

Techniques for determining and providing a preferred layout of a network page may be provided. For example, the system may receive a query with a keyword, access data regarding previous users' interactions associated with the results of the keyword, determine a category associated with the interactions, and provide a display (e.g., on the original network page) for that particular category. In some examples, the system may provide generic network pages and item- or category-specific network pages associated with a particular layout or presentation characteristics. The system can identify the presentation characteristics of the category-specific network page and incorporate them with the generic network page, without redirecting the user to the category-specific network page.

Category preferred layout for items in an electronic marketplace

A computing device can be configured to analyze information, such as frames captured in a video by a camera in the computing device, to determine locations of objects in captured frames using a scene-based tracking approach without individually having to track the identified objects across the captured frames. The computing device can track scenes, a global planar surface, across newly captured frames and the changes to (or transformation) the scene can be used to determine updated locations for objects that were identified in previously captured frames. Changes to the scene between frames can be measured using various techniques for estimating homographies. An updated location for the particular object in the currently captured frame can be determined by adjusting the location of the object, as determined in the previously captured frame, with respect to the transformation of the scene between the previously captured frame and the currently captured frame.

Approaches for scene-based object tracking

An approach for a soft keyboard with size changeable keys for a smart phone is provided. Depending on a prior input to the keyboard, one or more keys on the soft keyboard can be increased in size. When an additional input to the keyboard is entered, the keys of increased size are re-sized to their original sizes, and depending on the additional input to the keyboard, one or more keys on the soft keyboard can be increased in size.
