An information handling system bezel provides a dynamic visual effect with layers of patterns coupled to the information handling system housing that provide a dynamic visual effect for an end user as the end user viewing angle changes. For example, an outer layer of the bezel has a first pattern, such as parallel vent lines, an inner layer of the bezel has a second pattern, such as geometric shapes, and a middle layer has both the first and second patterns aligned with the outer and inner layers to provide the dynamic visual effect based upon viewing angle through the outer layer to the inner layer, such as with a contrasting color of the first and/or second patterns at the middle layer.

A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for performing a projected equipment information operation within an IT environment. In various embodiments, the projected equipment information operation includes: receiving equipment information regarding an information handling system within the IT environment; identifying AR content associated with the equipment information regarding the information handling system within the IT environment; and, projecting the AR content associated with the equipment information onto a physical device within the IT environment, a combination of the AR content and the physical device providing a composite view, the composite view providing a hands free and device free provision of the equipment information.

A latch and release mechanism for a computer component may allow release of the component with reduced force and easier access through a cam lever that rotates around a pivot point, such as a pin, to translate rotational motion into a force to unlock the drive from a bay of a chassis. Additionally, the cam lever may be configured to provide a force that ejects the drive from the bay nearly simultaneously with the unlocking of the drive. Thus, a user can remove a drive from a bay with a small application of a single type of force to the cam lever of a latch and release mechanism.
