The present invention provides a switching method of a universal serial bus (USB) switch element for an in-vehicle host system. According to a switching command, a hub controller of a switch device controls a switch element to switch from a device mode to a host mode, so that one of multiple mobile terminals connected to the switch element is in the host mode; or alternatively, the switch element is controlled to be switched from the host mode to the device mode so that multiple peripheral devices are in the device mode.

A data transmission method, applicable between a first USB host and a second USB host, is provided. The first USB host includes a host software, and the second USB host includes a controlled software. The data transmission method includes the following steps. A connection is established from a USB hub to the first USB host via its first USB port. A connection is established from a USB hub to the second USB host via its second USB port. A first USB transmission channel between the first USB host and the second USB host is provided by the USB hub. Data transmission method

A multi-host system, a host equipment, and an operation method for sharing a human-machine interface device are provided. The host equipment is controlled by human interface device (HID) operation information from another host equipment. The host equipment includes a universal serial bus (USB) host and a USB bridge device. The USB host receives the HID operation information from the another host equipment through a communication channel, and outputs the HID operation information through a USB downstream port of the USB host. A USB upstream port of the USB bridge device is coupled to the USB downstream port of the USB host to receive the HID operation information. The USB bridge device returns the HID operation information in an HID report form to the USB downstream port of the USB host through the USB upstream port of the USB bridge device.
