A cabinet for electronic devices includes a rack and engaging units. The rack includes a first supporting post, a second supporting post, a third supporting post and a fourth supporting post located at four corners of an imaginary rectangular parallelepiped. An opening is defined between the first supporting post and the second supporting post for the electronic devices inserted therein. Each of the third and fourth supporting posts defines a plurality of pairs of slots therein. The engaging units are mounted on the third and the fourth supporting posts, respectively. Each of the engaging units includes a pair of pins received in a corresponding pair of slots and a pressing element connected with the pins. The pressing element is horizontally moveable by the pins sliding along the corresponding pair of slots to thereby adjust an abutting force between the pressing element and a corresponding electronic device.

Cabinet for electronic devices and electronic assembly using the same

A fan module includes a receiving rack, a number of mounting members, a number of fans, and a number of fastening members. The receiving rack includes two side plates and a number of receiving spaces between the side plates. A top side of each side plate corresponding to one receiving space defines two cutouts. Each mounting member is latched in one corresponding cutout of the receiving rack. Each fan is received in one corresponding receiving space of the receiving rack. The fastening members are arranged on the fans and are latched in the mounting members.

Fan module

A data storage device is inserted in an information handling apparatus, and is prevented from being accidently disconnecting from the information handling apparatus by an locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a frame receiving the data storage device, and a retainer mounted to the frame, and comprising two resilient arms extending out of the frame to be correspondingly secured in two retaining holes defined in the information handling apparatus.

Locking mechanism and information handling system using the same

An exemplary server cabinet includes two brackets defining a space therebetween for receiving servers, and two guiding fixtures respectively engaged with the two brackets. Each bracket defines a latching hole. Each guiding fixture includes a supporting member and a latching member. The supporting member includes a main plate and a supporting arm extending from the main plate towards the space. The latching member includes a resisting plate attached to the main plate and a pivot extending from the resisting plate. A plurality of protrusions extends outwards from an end of the pivot. The latching member is rotated to engage the protrusions with the corresponding bracket at a periphery of the latching hole after the end of the pivot extends through the supporting member and the latching hole of the bracket such that the main plate is sandwiched between the resisting plate and the bracket and attached to the bracket.

Server cabinet with guiding fixtures

A mounting apparatus includes a rack, two positioning members, two retaining members, and two latch members. The rack includes two first supports and two second supports. Each second support defines a plurality of locking holes. The positioning members are configured for attachment to an electronic device and engage with the first supports. The retaining members are configured for attachment to the electronic device and attached to the second supports. Each retaining member defines a through hole. Each latch member includes a first latch component and a second latch component. The first latch component includes two resiliently deformable securing pieces and defines a threaded hole. The securing pieces are received in one of the locking holes to secure the first latch components to the second supports. The second latch components pass through the through holes and are threaded in the threaded holes, to secure the retaining members to the second supports.

Mounting apparatus for electronic device

An electronic assembly includes a rack, two connecting arms, a case and two guideways. The connecting arms are mounted on opposite sides of the rack, spaced from and facing each other. The case includes a supporting housing and a cover. The supporting housing is sandwiched between the connecting arms, and secured on the connecting arms. Two tracks are formed on the lateral sides of the supporting housing. The cover are formed with two spaced slideways. The cover covers the supporting housing; and two slideways enclose the two tracks and are slidable along the tracks. The guideways are mounted on the connecting arms, respectively. The slideways of the cover slide along the tracks oriented toward the guideways, and engage with the guideways to make the cover slide away from the supporting housing.

Electronic assembly

An exemplary holder for a hard disk drive includes a mounting frame and a handle. The mounting frame includes a first mounting arm, a second mounting arm, a connecting arm, and a clipping assembly. One end of the handle is pivotally connected with one end of the connecting arm. The clipping assembly is attached at another end of the connecting arm. The clipping assembly includes a base, a button, a elastic member and a sliding member. The button is slidable in the connecting arm. The resilient member is located between and abuts against the button and the base. One end of the sliding member is pivotally connected with the connecting arm. Another end of the sliding member is slidably connected with the button. The sliding member defines a locking groove, and the other end of the handle forms a locking hook received in the locking groove of the sliding member.

Hard disk drive holder

A server enclosure includes a top plate and a bottom plate. The top plate defines a guiding channel extending along a first direction. The bottom plate parallels to the top plate. The bottom plate protrudes a guiding member. The guiding channel and the guiding member are aligned long a direction perpendicular to the top plate, and the guiding channel is boarder than the guiding member.

Server enclosure and server enclosure assembly

A data storage device is inserted in an information handling apparatus, and is prevented from being accidentally disconnected from the information handling apparatus by a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a frame receiving the data storage device, and a retainer mounted to the frame. The retainer includes two resilient arms extending out of the frame to be correspondingly secured in two retaining holes defined in the information handling apparatus.
