Exemplary computer-accessible medium, systems, and methods are described herein which can provide an excited fluorescence radiation. In accordance with certain exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, an excited fluorescence radiation can be provided using a beam of a probe so as to excite a molecule to an excited state for a fluorescence emission to effectuate the excited fluorescence radiation. The molecule can be detected based on the fluorescence emission. For example, the beam of the probe can be either the near-infrared spectrum or the visible light spectrum.

Stimulated Raman coupled fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy system and method

A method for optical super-multiplexing using polyynes to provide enhanced images from stimulated Raman microscopy is disclosed. In some exemplary embodiments, the polyynes are organelle-targeted or spectral barcoded. Imaging can be enhanced by using the polyynes to image whole live cells or specific organelles within live cells. The polyynes can also be used in optical data storage (i.e., encoding) and identification (i.e., decoding) applications.

Exemplary methods, systems and computer-accessible medium for detecting at least one condition of at least one disease. In particular, it is possible to administer at least one composition to at least one patient, where the at least one composition includes at least one bond-edited compound configured to target at least one of a disease tissue or a pathogen. Further, it is possible to receive information related to the administration of the composition to the patient. It is also possible to detect the at least one bond-edited compound using a Raman scattering arrangement.

Devices, compositions and methods for imaging with Raman scattering

Methods, systems and computer-accessible medium for imaging a living cell or a living organism with bond-edited compounds using stimulated Raman scattering are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of introducing one or more bond-edited compounds into a live cell or a living organism, and detecting a vibrational tag in the cell or organism with stimulated Raman scattering. Also disclosed are methods for detecting a disease condition in a subject, methods for monitoring treatment for a disease condition, methods for screening an agent, methods for tracing a cellular process in a live cell using bond-edited compounds in combination with stimulated Raman scattering. Also disclosed are a composition for labeling a target cell with at least one bond-edited compound and devices for imaging bond-edited compounds by stimulated Raman scattering.
