Disclosed are a method and apparatus for automatically adding sound effects into an audio file. At least one trigger word may be identified from text content corresponding to the audio file (). Context information of the at least one trigger word may be determined from the text content (). It may be decided, based on the context information of the at least one trigger word, that sound effect addition is applicable the at least one trigger word (). A sound effect corresponding to the at least one trigger word may be selected from a sound effect library (). The sound effect may be integrated into the audio file ().

Automatically adding sound effects into audio files

A method for localizing a software resource in a second language is disclosed. The method may include receiving a software resource in a first language, receiving data relating to a state of translations performed for the software application by a localization service, determining based on the software resource in the first language and the data whether an up-to-date software resource in a second language exists in a data store where the software resource in the second language corresponds to the software resource in the first language. Upon determining that the up-to-date software resource in the second language exists, utilizing the up-to-date software resource in the build process, and upon determining that the up-to-date software resource does not exist in the data store, sending a request to the localization service to create the up-to-date software resource in the second language, and upon creation of the up-to-date software resource receiving a link to a location of the software resource in the data store.

Integrated system for localization of resources tailored for translations by setting a flag

A data center rack allocation system allocates rack computer systems to be installed at particular rack positions based at least in part upon correlating infrastructure support requirements of the rack computer systems with infrastructure support capacities associated with the rack position. Such allocation can enable rapid incremental deployment of infrastructure and rack computer systems in a data center with flexibility to allocate various types of rack computer systems, with various support requirements, to available infrastructure. The system can identify infrastructure connections available to provide certain types of support capacity and can associate such connections with various rack positions in data centers. The system can determine the support requirements of a rack computer system in response to a determination that the rack computer system is presently inbound for delivery to a data center. The system can allocate particular infrastructure connections to a rack computer system allocated to a rack position.

Compression of extensive, rule-based grammars used to facilitate search queries is provided herein. Rule-based grammars include a list of rules that each comprise a sequence of token classes. Each token class is a logical grouping of tokens, and each token is a string of characters. A grammar is parsed to identify rules and token classes. Unimportant token classes are identified and sets of unimportant token classes are merged to generated merged token classes. A compressed grammar is generated by substituting the merged token classes into the grammar for corresponding unimportant token classes used to generate the merged token classes.

Grammar compression

A data storage management system includes a virtual provider for interacting with a coordinator to receive shadow copy requests from a requestor and for interfacing with a plurality of providers that support various logical units on which data volumes can be stored. The virtual provider appears to the coordinator as a provider and can generate a shadow copy of a first one of the data volumes that spans multiple ones of the logical units, which are supported by different ones of the plurality of providers.

The Cache differentiates and manages data using a state machine with a plurality of states. The Cache may use data patterns and statistics to retain frequently used data in the cache longer. The Cache uses content or attributes to differentiate and retain data longer. Further, the Cache may provide status and statistics to a data flow manager that determines which data to cache and which data to pipe directly through, or to switch cache policies dynamically, thus avoiding some of the cache overhead. The Cache may also place clean and dirty data in separate states to enable more efficient Cache mirroring and flush.

Data-aware cache state machine

A method and system directed to improve effectiveness and efficiency of cache and data management by differentiating data based on certain attributes associated with the data and reducing the bottleneck to storage. The data-aware cache differentiates and manages data using a state machine having certain states. The data-aware cache may use data pattern and traffic statistics to retain frequently used data in cache longer by transitioning it into Sticky or StickyDirty states. The data-aware cache may also use content or application related attributes to differentiate and retain certain data in cache longer. Further, the data-aware cache may provide cache status and statistics information to a data-aware data flow manager, thus assisting data-aware data flow manager to determine which data to cache and which data to pipe directly through, or to switch cache policies dynamically, thus avoiding some of the overhead associated with caches. The data-aware cache may also place clean and dirty data in separate states, enabling more efficient cache mirroring and flush, thus improve system reliability and performance.

A method and system directed to reducing the bottleneck to storage. In one aspect of the invention, a data-aware data flow manager is inserted between storage and a process or device requesting access to the storage. The data-aware data flow manager determines which data to cache and which data to pipe directly through. Through intelligent management and caching of data flow, the data-aware data flow manager is able to avoiding some of the latencies associated with caches that front storage devices. The data-aware data flow manager may determine whether to cache data or pipe it directly through based on many factors including type of data requested, state of cache, and user or system policies.
