A neutron capture therapy system, including a vacuum tube for transmitting a charged particle beam, a neutron generating part for generating a neutron beam, and a beam shaping assembly for shaping the neutron beam. The beam shaping assembly is provided with an accommodating part. The neutron generating part is disposed at an end of the vacuum tube. The vacuum tube has a first position and a second position. The neutron capture therapy system further includes a removal device, which includes a moving part that drives the vacuum tube to move. The moving part has a third position and a fourth position. When the moving part is in the third position, the vacuum tube is in the first position. When the moving part is in the fourth position, the vacuum tube is in the second position, and the neutron generating part is located at the outer side of the beam shaping assembly.

Neutron capture therapy system

Provided is an operation procedure of a positioning device of a radiation therapy system. The radiation therapy system includes a radiation generation device used to generate therapeutic radiation, an irradiation chamber used to accommodate an irradiation subject receiving the radiation, a management chamber used to achieve irradiation control, and a support device used to transport and support the irradiation subject. The support device includes a support member supporting the irradiation subject, an adjustment assembly for adjusting a spatial position of the support member, and a joining assembly fixedly connecting the support member and the adjustment assembly together in a detachable manner. The support member at least includes a first support member and a second support member having a different size and/or shape from the first support member. The invention allows switching between support members having different sizes and/or shapes according to an actual use requirement.

In the positioning process of the carrying table, most of the carrying table positioning device is located in the space between the linear axis and the beam outlet, the radioactivity and life-span shortening caused by the radiation of the various components of the carrying table positioning device are reduced.

The radiation treatment system comprises a radiation generation device, an irradiation chamber used for placing a patient, a carrying device used for transferring and bearing the patient, a collimator provided in the irradiation chamber, an irradiation parameter verification device used for determining whether the position of the patient is suitable for performing radiation irradiation treatment or not, and a collimator model, wherein the collimator comprises a collimator outlet; the collimator model comprises a collimator model outlet; the shape and the size of the collimator model outlet are the same as those of the collimator outlet, and the size of the collimator model in the direction perpendicular to the collimator model outlet is smaller than the size of the collimator in the direction perpendicular to the collimator outlet.

The beam irradiation apparatus generates a beam for therapy and irradiates an irradiated body to form an irradiated part. A tissue model template library of the irradiated body is stored in the therapy plan module; the therapy plan module performs dosage simulation calculation according to the tissue model template library, medical imaging data of the irradiated part, and a parameter of the beam for therapy generated by the beam irradiation apparatus, and generates a therapy plan. The control module retrieves, from the therapy plan module, the therapy plan corresponding to the irradiated body, and controls the beam irradiation apparatus to irradiate the irradiated body according to the therapy plan determined by the therapy plan generation method.

Abeam shaping assembly for neutron capture therapy includes a beam inlet, a target having nuclear reaction with an incident proton beam from the beam inlet to produce neutrons forming a neutron beam, a moderator adjoining to the target, a reflector surrounding the moderator. The neutrons are moderated to epithermal neutron energies by the moderator, and part of the moderator disposed on the back of the target can be replaced so as to adjust the epithermal neutron energies. The reflector leads the neutrons deviated from the main axis back.

Beam shaping assembly for neutron capture therapy

The present disclosure provides a neutron capture therapy system including a beam shaping assembly. The beam shaping assembly includes a beam inlet; a neutron generator arranged into the beam shaping assembly, the neutron generator has nuclear reaction with an incident proton beam from the beam inlet to produce neutrons; a moderator adjacent to the neutron generator, the neutrons are moderated by the moderator to epithermal neutron energies; a reflector surrounding the neutron generator and the moderator, the reflector leads the deflected neutrons back to enhance epithermal neutron beam intensity; a beam outlet; and at least a movable member moving away from or close to the neutron generator, the movable member moves between a first position where the neutron generator is replaceable, and a second position where the neutron generator is irreplaceable. The neutron capture therapy system has a simple structure, and the neutron generator is easy to be replaced.
