The disclosure provides an amplifying apparatus including a plurality of amplifying circuits and an adjusting circuit. The input terminals of the amplifying circuits are coupled to a first common node. The output terminals of the amplifying circuits are coupled to a second common node. The adjusting circuit adjusts an input signal to generate an adjusted signal to the first common node; the adjusting circuit adjusts the signal of the second common node; or the adjusting circuit adjusts the input signal to generate the adjusted signal to the first common node and adjusts the signal of the second common node. The first control signal and the second control signal respectively control the amplifying circuits and the adjusting circuit to determine the gain, the linear power, and the output current of the amplifying apparatus.

Amplifying apparatus

A carrier aggregation circuit includes a signal input terminal, a signal output terminal, a first filter, a first output transform circuit, a second filter, and a second output transform circuit. The signal input terminal receives a radio frequency signal with carrier waves with first and second carrier wave frequencies. The first filter and the second filter are coupled between the signal input terminal and the signal output terminal respectively, and can respectively filter out signals with frequencies other than the first and the second carrier wave frequencies. The first output transform circuit is coupled between the first filter and the signal output terminal, and has an output impedance equivalent to an open circuit at the second carrier frequency. The second output transform circuit is coupled between the second filter and the signal output terminal, and has an output impedance equivalent to an open circuit at the first carrier frequency.

Carrier aggregation circuit allowing carrier waves with different frequencies to share the same amplifier

A method for providing error-resilient video content may include receiving video data reflective of multiple video frames and encoding the video data to generate a plurality of packets. The method may also include transmitting the first group of packets to at least two receivers and receiving feedback information regarding receiving status of respective ones of the plurality of packets, the feedback information being indicative of packets not received correctly. The method may further include examining error indications based on the feedback information and implementing a first error-correction policy if a variation in the error indications among the at least two receivers is below a first error threshold and a second error-correction policy if the variation is above the first error threshold. At least one of the first and second error-correction policies may include transmitting or retransmitting at least one packet using a different coding scheme.

Adaptive wireless video transmission systems and methods

A calibration circuit includes at least two compensation circuits and a comparator. The at least two compensation circuits are coupled to an input signal for outputting at least a first compensation signal and a second compensation signal respectively. The comparator is coupled to the first compensation signal and the second compensation signal for outputting a calibration signal, where the calibration signal is used for determining an oscillation frequency of a crystal oscillator to achieve a purpose of frequency compensation with a temperature.

In an antenna array, a metal layer is used for covering a block mapped by micro-strips, which are disposed on an obverse side of a base plate, on a reverse side of the base plate, so as to concentrating energy of radio signals emitted from radiator sets on a predetermined direction. The base plate and elements loaded by the base plate are fabricated according to designed specifications, so as to enhance the concentration of energy of the radio signals on the predetermined direction.

Antenna array method for enhancing signal transmission

To meet the requirements including dual-band, a high gain, and a broadside radiation formation, a dual band planar micro-strip antenna utilizing antenna array is provided. One array element includes a rectangle-shaped micro-strip antenna and an arrow-shaped micro-strip antenna. A first resonant frequency is determined by a length of the rectangle-shaped micro-strip antenna. Slots are dug for satisfying a second resonance frequency. Curved surfaces of the arrow-shaped micro-strip antenna designed according to an ellipse equation so that a frequency resonance is reached under both the first resonant frequency and a second resonant frequency, and a broadside radiation formation is thus generated. A T-shaped jointer distributes power between antenna elements according to the output impedances of the antenna elements. An L-shaped band-stop filter located on the T-shaped jointer is utilized to suppress frequency resonance resulted from multiples of the first resonant frequency.

Dual-band planar micro-strip antenna

A multi-band microstrip meander-line antenna includes a substrate, two meander-shaped conductors, and two feed lines. The first meander-shaped conductor is disposed on the substrate in a first reciprocating bend manner for providing a resonant frequency band corresponding to a first operating frequency. The second meander-shaped conductor is disposed on the substrate in a second reciprocating bend manner for providing a resonant frequency band corresponding to a second operating frequency. The first feed line includes the first end electrically connected to a first feed point of the antenna and the second end electrically connected to the end of the first meander-shaped conductor. The second feed line includes the first end electrically connected to the second feed point of the antenna and the second end electrically connected to the end of the second meander-shaped conductor.

Multi-band microstrip meander-line antenna

Systems and methods for delivering real-time video imagery to a receiver over a channel. A current video frame is captured and digitized. The digitized frame is divided into a plurality of macroblocks. For each macroblock an intra, inter or skip mode coding mode is determined. Based on instantaneous feedback received from a receiver regarding successfully received video packets for a prior video frame, a quantization parameter is set and the macroblocks are encoded in accordance with their respective selected coding mode. Synchronized error concealment is performed at both the encoder and decoder sides of the system and retransmission of lost video packets, using an adaptive retransmission scheme, are performed in accordance with the instantaneous feedback from the receiver.

Error resilient video transmission using instantaneous receiver feedback and channel quality adaptive packet retransmission

A micro-strip antenna includes an L-shaped coupler, a set of micro-strip antennas, and an L-shaped band-stop filter. The set of micro-strip antennas includes at least one rectangular micro-strip antenna unit and a micro-strip line. The rectangular micro-strip antenna unit is coupled to the micro-strip line. The micro-strip line is coupled to the first end of the coupler. The band-stop filter is disposed along a corner of the rectangular micro-strip antenna unit, and is disposed between the antenna unit and the coupler without being physically connected to the antenna unit and the coupler. The width, length, and position of the L-shaped band-stop filter can be determined for the specific band-stop frequency and to optimize its coupling extent with the L-shaped coupler.

A multi-band electronic apparatus and method thereof is provided. The method comprises outputting a first output signal in the first band by a first voltage controlled oscillator according to a switch control signal and a control voltage, outputting a second output signal in the second band by a second voltage controlled oscillator according to the switch control signal and the control voltage, the second band being not completely overlapped by the first band, performing frequency division selectively on the first output signal or the second frequency divided signal according to the switch control signal, and outputting a first frequency divided signal, determining a phase difference between the first frequency divided signal and a reference signal to output a phase difference signal, outputting the control voltage according to the phase difference signal, and selectively driving the first or the second voltage controlled oscillators by the control voltage according to the switch control signal.
