A fan frame for a heat dissipation apparatus is provided. The fan frame includes an outer frame, an inner frame sleeved in the outer frame and slidable relative to the outer frame, a latching mechanism for mechanically securing the inner frame to the outer frame. The latching mechanism includes one or more resilient latches, one or more receiving portions capable of receiving the resilient latches in a first latched position and a second latched position, and an actuator mechanism connected to the outer frame and capable of resisting the resilient latch to cause elastic deformation of the resilient latch, thereby withdrawing the resilient latch from the receiving portion.

Fan frame and heat dissipation apparatus using the same

A fixing mechanism includes a battery sleeve, a resilient member and a battery cover. The battery sleeve defines an open end to receive a battery. The battery sleeve includes a latching portion formed in an inner surface thereof adjacent to the open end. The resilient member is fixed to the inner side surface of battery sleeve. The battery cover includes a guide portion defined in an outer surface thereof, and a latching portion connecting with the guide portion. The battery cover is rotatably engaged with the battery sleeve via the open end. The latching protrusion slides along the guide portion until the latching protrusion is locked in the latching portion, and the resilient member presses the battery to resist the battery cover.

Fixing mechanism

An electronic device frame includes a housing, a positioning member connecting with the housing, and an inner supporting mechanism. The inner supporting mechanism includes a support member fixed on the housing, a slider slidably connected to the support member, and a fastener connecting the support member to the slider. One of the slider and the supporting member defines a locking slot, in which the fastener is locked. The fastener can lock in any position along the locking slot, such that the slider can maintain different positions and resist the positioning member by moving relative to the supporting member.

Electronic device frame and support mechanism utilized thereby

A slider electronic device includes a first body, a second body, and a connecting member fixed to the first body. The first body includes at least one control member rotatably disposed on the first body and at least two first sliding members. The second body is slidably coupled with the first body. The second body includes at least one restricting member and at least two second sliding members. The connecting member defines at least two guide portions corresponding to the at least two first sliding members. The at least one control member is capable of blocking the at least one restricting member of the second body. Each first sliding member includes a sliding surface angled relative to the axis along which the second body slides. Each second sliding member passes through the corresponding guide portion to slide along the sliding surface, and be elastically deformed.

An electronic device capable of sliding open and closed includes a first cover connected to a second cover by two locking assemblies. The first cover is capable of sliding relative to the second cover. The first cover forms two latch portions and two guide portions. The second cover has a sidewall and defines a receptacle. Each locking assembly includes a control, a resilient member, and a guide member. The control mounted on the second cover partially extends into the receptacle of the second cover. The resilient member, received in the second cover, has two ends respectively resisting the second cover and a latch portion of the first cover. The guide member passes through the resilient member, a latch portion, and a guide portion.

Electronic device

An electronic device includes a power switch, an elastic force member adjacent to the power switch, a triggering member fixed on the elastic force member to trigger the power switch, and an elastic reposition member. The triggering member is capable of sliding between a first position and a second position relative to the power switch. The elastic reposition member provides elastic force to move the triggering member from the first position to the second position. In the first position, the triggering member faces the power switch and can be pressed to trigger the power switch. In the second position, the triggering member is away from the power switch.

A housing for an electronic device includes a main body, a cover, and a sliding control. The main body defines a plurality of restricting grooves. The cover has a plurality of engaging members. The sliding control is slidably positioned on the cover, and fixedly to the engaging members. When the sliding control slides relative to the cover, the engaging members engage in the restricting grooves of the main body, thus fixing the cover to the main body.

Housing for electronic device

An electronic device includes a main body, a battery, a locking member, and an elastic member. The main body defines a receiving cavity. The receiving cavity has a plurality of sidewalls. One of the sidewalls defines a receiving depression. The battery is detachably received in the receiving cavity. The locking member is fixed on the battery. The locking member includes an elastic resisting portion. The button is positioned on the main body. The elastic member biases the button. The elastic resisting portion is inserted into the receiving depression to fix the battery. When an external force is applied to the button, the button pushes the elastic resisting portion out of the receiving depression so that the battery can be taken out. After the external force is removed, the elastic member pushes the button to return to its original position.

An electronic device includes a main body, a cover, and two support legs. The main body defines two receiving portions. The cover is rotatably connected to the main body. Two resisting portions are formed on the cover. The support legs are rotatably received in the receiving portions of the main body respectively. When the cover rotates relative to the main body, the resisting portions resist the support legs to rotate, thus driving the support legs protruding out from the main body. The at least one support leg is substantially rectangular shaped.

A retention assembly for an expansion card in an enclosure, the expansion card having an expansion card cover plate. The retention assembly includes an expansion card mounting frame, a limiting member, a resisting member, and an elastic member. The expansion card mounting frame is disposed on the enclosure to fix the expansion card cover plate. The limiting member is disposed on the enclosure adjacent to the expansion card mounting frame, and the limiting member and the enclosure cooperatively define a guide groove. The resisting member includes a resisting portion and a limiting portion connected to the resisting portion and slidably received in the guide groove. The elastic member interconnects the expansion card mounting frame and the resisting member. The resisting portion resists the expansion card cover plate by a resilient force applied by the elastic member.

A pushbutton for an electronic device includes a pushbutton cap, a pushbutton base, and an adhesive member. The pushbutton cap has a flange extending from an edge thereof. The pushbutton base engages with the flange of the pushbutton cap, thus enveloping the adhesive member between the pushbutton cap and the pushbutton base.

A screen protecting assembly for an electronic device includes a pivot shaft, a cushion, and two connecting subassemblies positioned on the electronic device. Each connecting subassembly has a base and a rotating member rotatably received in the base. The rotating member engages with the pivot shaft. The cushion coils on the pivot shaft. When the rotating member is rotated in a first direction, the cushion unfolds to cover a screen of the electronic device. When the rotating member is rotated in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the cushion coils on the pivot shaft so that the screen of the electronic device is exposed.

A computer enclosure includes a housing, a cover, a lock rod and an operating member. The housing includes an upper plate and a bottom plate opposite to the upper plate, with two protruding bars respectively formed on opposite inner surfaces of the upper plate and the bottom plate. Each protruding bar forms a latch hook and defines a notch. The cover forms a limiting portion defining a receiving groove. The lock rod is moveably received in the receiving groove. The operating member is slidably assembled onto the cover and fixed to the lock rod. The operating member is capable of moving the lock rod to pass through the notch and latch to or detach from the latch hook, such that the cover can be assembled onto or disassembled from the housing.

Computer enclosure

An electronic device includes a main body, a battery, and a fixing module. The main body defines a receiving groove to receive the battery. The battery defines a latching groove. The fixing module includes a fixing member, an elastic member, and a touching member. The touching member urges the elastic member such that the elastic member drives the fixing member to rotate, thereby engaging or disengaging the fixing member with the latching groove.

A fixing mechanism for fixing a battery in a sleeve defines a receiving groove therein, a latching member including a body, a restraining flange extending out from one end of the body and a contact end formed at the other end of the body, a latching slot defined in an inner surface of the sleeve, an elastic member compressed and received in the receiving groove and a barrel detachably fixed in the receiving groove. An end of the compressed elastic member resists a bottom surface of the receiving groove and the other end of the elastic member resists the restraining flange, to press the latching member contact end to pass through the barrel and finally to be received in the latching slot, and the restraining flange is blocked by the barrel.
