Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for source device technology that identifies a plurality of object regions in a video frame, automatically generates context information for the video frame on a per-object region basis and embeds the context information in a signal containing the video frame. Additionally, playback device technology may decode a signal containing a video frame and embedded context information, identifies a plurality of object regions in the video frame based on the embedded context information, and automatically selects one or more post-processing configurations for the video frame on a per-object region basis.

Technology to use video source context information in post-processing operations

A pen needle assembly apparatus includes a housing (), a movable gripping assembly () for gripping a pen needle assembly (), and an actuator (). The housing () has a top end (), a bottom end (), and an inner cavity () for storing used pen needle assemblies. A pen needle assembly apparatus () includes a housing (), a movable support () for supporting a pen needle (), an ejector () for ejecting a used pen needle from the support, and an actuator (). The support () is rotated relative to the housing () to index the pen needles to a position where the pen needle can be accessed and coupled to a delivery device (). The used pen needle () is returned to the well () in the support and the support rotated toward the ejector () where the used pen needle is ejected to a compartment () in the housing for disposal. A cover () on the housing includes at least one opening () for accessing the pen needle when the support is rotated to position a pen needle relative to the opening in the cover.

An example apparatus for tracking objects includes a controller to receive a depth map, a focus distance, and an image frame of an object to be tracked. The controller is to detect the object to be tracked in the image frame and generate an object position for the object in the image frame. The controller is to calculate a deflection angle for the object based on the depth map, the focus distance, and the object position. The controller is to further rotate an imaging sensor based on the deflection angle.

A needle hub assembly for coupling to a pen needle delivery device includes an outer cover having a first well receiving the needle hub and inner shield covering a cannula of the needle hub. A second well is spaced from the first well and receives the inner shield. In use, the pen delivery device is coupled to the connecting end of the needle hub to withdraw the needle hub and inner shield from the first well. The inner shield is inserted into the second well where the inner shield is gripped so that the inner shield can be separated from the needle hub without the user handling the outer cover or the inner shield. After use, the needle hub is inserted into the first well and the pen needle delivery device is separated from the needle hub. The needle hub is retained within the first well where the outer cover containing the used needle hub and inner shield can be discarded as a single unit.
