A cutting mechanism for cutting a label from a printing device is provided. The cutting mechanism includes a casing, a knife assembly and a lubricating assembly. The knife assembly is disposed within the casing. The casing includes a base and a movable knife. The movable knife is movable upwardly or downwardly relative to the base to cut the label. The movable knife is exposed through an opening of the casing. The lubricating assembly includes a support frame and at least one oil-absorbing element. The lubricating assembly is pivotally coupled to the casing through the support frame. Consequently, the at least one oil-absorbing element is inserted into the opening and contacted with the movable knife of the knife assembly. While the movable knife is moved upwardly or downwardly, a lubricating oil in the at least one oil-absorbing element lubricates the movable knife.

Cutting mechanism

A sheet sensing module and a duplex scanning apparatus having the sheet sensing module are provided. The sheet sensing module includes a first sensing arm, a second sensing arm, and an electronic sensor. The first sensing arm is partially exposed to a sheet feeding channel of the duplex scanning apparatus. The second sensing arm is partially exposed to an inverting channel of the duplex scanning apparatus. When a document is transferred through the sheet feeding channel to trigger said first sensing arm or the document is transferred through the inverting channel to trigger the second sensing arm, the electronic sensor generates a sensing signal.

Sheet sensing module and duplex scanning apparatus using the same

A duplex scanning apparatus and a sheet-feeding control method thereof are provided. The duplex scanning apparatus includes a sheet feeding channel, a sheet transfer channel, an inverting channel, and a sheet sensing module. A first end of the inverting channel is connected to a junction between said sheet feeding channel and the sheet transfer channel. A second end of the inverting channel is connected to the sheet transfer channel. A distance between the sheet sensing module and the first end of the inverting channel is greater than a distance between the sheet sensing module and the second end of the inverting channel. When a document is transferred through the sheet sensing module at the second time, a next document is fed into the sheet feeding channel through a sheet entrance.

Duplex scanning apparatus and sheet-feeding control method thereof

An automatic document feeder includes a sheet pick-up module and a floating shock-absorbing structure. The floating shock-absorbing structure is arranged at a feeding entrance. The sheet pick-up module includes a sheet pick-up roller and a sheet separation roller. When the sheet pick-up module is rotated to a sheet feeding position, the sheet pick-up roller is contacted with the floating shock-absorbing structure to feed the sheet into the internal portion of the automatic document feeder. By the floating shock-absorbing structure, the possibility of causing excessive shock and noise when the sheet pick-up arm strikes the feeding entrance will be minimized or eliminated.

Automatic document feeder

A document position-limiting mechanism includes a first paper guide plate, a second paper guide plate, a connecting wheel and a switching module. The first paper guide plate and the second paper guide plate are used for guiding a document on a paper input tray to be fed into an automatic document feeder. Through the connecting wheel, the first paper guide plate and the second paper guide plate are movable on the paper input tray. By means of the switching module, two operating modes of the document position-limiting mechanism can selected by the user in order to meet the requirements of different users.

Document position-limiting mechanism

An automatic document feeding and scanning apparatus includes an automatic document feeder and a flatbed scanner mechanism. The flatbed scanner mechanism includes a casing, a scanning module and a scanning platform. The scanning platform has a first scanning window and a second scanning window for fixing a first transparent plate and a second transparent plate, respectively. In addition, an inner periphery of the second scanning window and an edge of the second transparent plate have complementary profiles.

Automatic document feeding and scanning apparatus

The present invention relates to a scanner with auto document feeder including a housing, an auto document feeder and a connecting mechanism for connecting the housing and the auto document feeder. The connecting mechanism includes a first connecting structure and a second connecting structure. The first connecting structure let the auto document feeder rotates with respect to the housing to a first angle and the second connecting structure let the auto document feeder rotates with respect to the housing to a second angle. The second connecting structure makes the auto document feeder stop at any angle within the second angle.

An automatic document feeder includes a feeder casing, a pressing structure, a guiding notch, plural first guiding ribs and plural second guiding ribs. The pressing structure is disposed on a bottom part of the feeder casing. The guiding notch is formed in the pressing structure. The first guiding ribs are arranged downstream of the guiding notch. The second guiding ribs are arranged beside the first guiding ribs. The height of the first guiding rib is smaller than the height of the second guiding rib. The lower first guiding ribs are used for guiding a thicker paper. The higher second guiding ribs are used for guiding a thinner paper.

An automatic document feeder includes a top cover having a fixing structure and first attracting element, a sheet pick-up module and a second attracting element. The fixing structure and the first attracting element are disposed on an inner surface of the top cover. The sheet pick-up module includes a sheet pick-up arm. The sheet pick-up arm is rotated to either a standby position or a sheet feeding position. The second attracting element is disposed on the sheet pick-up arm. When the sheet pick-up arm is rotated to the sheet feeding position, the sheet pick-up module feeds the sheet into an internal portion of the automatic document feeder. When the sheet pick-up arm is rotated to the standby position, the first attracting element and the second attracting element are attracted by each other so that the sheet pick-up arm is fixed on the standby position.

Automatic document feeder with sheet pick-up module

An automatic document feeder includes a paper guide casing, a photo interrupter, a first sensing unit, a second sensing unit and a controller. During the paper is transported through the paper guide casing, the first sensing unit and the second sensing unit are respectively triggered by two ends of the paper. Consequently, the photo interrupter is conducted for a first duration Tor a second duration T. According to the first duration Tor the second duration T, a skew angle of the paper is calculated by the controller.

A sheet-feeding scanning apparatus having a business card feeding mechanism is provided. The sheet-feeding scanning apparatus includes a scanning module, an ordinary document input tray, an ordinary document pick-up roller assembly, a transfer channel, a plurality of transfer rollers, an ejecting tray, an ejecting roller assembly, a business card input tray, and a business card pick-up roller assembly. The business card input tray includes a business card support plate, a spring, a separation slice and a position-limiting glide slot. The business card pick-up roller assembly includes a business card pick-up roller, a business card separation roller and a shaft rod. The shaft rod is sheathed by the business card separation roller. The sheet-feeding scanning apparatus is adapted for scanning images of multiple ordinary documents or multiple business cards.

Sheet-feeding scanning apparatus having mechanism for feeding business card

An automatic document feeder includes an outer casing, an upper cover, a first pressing roller set and a separating device. The first pressing roller set is installed in a receiving member, which is arranged at a terminal side of the outer casing. The first pressing roller set includes a first rotating shaft and a first pressing roller. The separating device is sheathed around the first rotating shaft and exposed outside the receiving member. When the upper cover is opened, the upper cover is contacted with the separating device, so that the separating device is moved to shift the first rotating shaft.

A sheet-feeding type scanning apparatus and an automatic sheet feeding method are provided. The sheet-feeding type scanning apparatus includes a scanning module, a first sheet input tray, a first sheet pick-up roller assembly, a sheet ejecting tray, a sheet transfer channel, a plurality of transfer roller assemblies, a sheet ejecting roller assembly, a sheet-feeding sensor and a clutch module. Once a first sheet article of multiple sheet articles placed on the first sheet input tray are fed into the internal portion of the sheet-feeding type scanning apparatus to trigger the sheet-feeding sensor, the clutch module is disabled. At this moment, a second sheet article placed on the first sheet input tray fails to be fed by the first sheet pick-up roller assembly. Therefore, the double feeding problem is solved.

Sheet-feeding type scanning apparatus and automatic sheet feeding method

A sheet pick-up device of an automatic document feeder is used for feeding a sheet into a sheet feeding path. The sheet pick-up device includes a sheet pick-up module and a sustaining element. The sheet pick-up module includes a driving shaft and a sheet pick-up arm coupled to the driving shaft. The sheet pick-up arm is driven by the driving shaft to be rotated to either a standby position or a sheet feeding position. The sustaining element is pivotally coupled to the sheet pick-up arm. When a distal end of the sustaining element is rotated to be in contact with the sheet feeding path, the sheet pick-up arm stays in the standby position.

Sheet pick-up device of automatic document feeder

A sheet-feeding scanning apparatus having a business card feeding mechanism is provided. The sheet-feeding scanning apparatus includes a scanning module, an ordinary document input tray, an ordinary document pick-up roller assembly, an ejecting tray, a transfer channel, a plurality of transfer rollers, a business card input tray, and a business card pick-up roller assembly. The business card input tray has a business card support plate. In a case that a jam event occurs, the business card support plate may be swung for facilitating removing the jammed business card.
