A wedge to be used with a lockdown ring is disclosed. The lockdown ring is to be used with a wellhead. The wedge is enabled to engage a separation in the lockdown ring. The wedge includes a stopping feature to enable the wedge to be in one of a plurality of positions within the separation in the lockdown ring.

A wellbore system includes an upper head and a lower head coupled to the upper head by one or more fasteners. The wellbore system also includes a seal ring positioned within a seal pocket to engage the upper head to form a first seal interface between the upper head and the seal ring. The wellbore system includes a hanger arranged within a bore. The wellbore system includes a packoff positioned between the hanger and the lower head. The wellbore system includes one or more lock screws to apply a downward force to the packoff to establish a second seal interface between the packoff and the seal ring and a third seal interface between the packoff and the hanger.

Embodiments include an energizing ring for setting a downhole seal includes a body having a varied cross-section along at least a portion of an axial length. The energizing ring also includes a plurality of peaks forming at least a portion of the varied cross-section having a first diameter. An energizing ring for setting a downhole sealing element includes a passage extending through a width of the energizing ring and a wing extending radially outward from a body of the energizing ring, the wing includes a sealing arm coupled to the body at a joint and a slot arranged between at least a portion of the sealing arm and the body, wherein the sealing arm is configured to pivot relative to the joint in response to a fluid pressure within the cavity.
