The present disclosure generally relates to underwater user interfaces. In some embodiments, a method includes at an electronic device with a display and one or more input devices, receiving a first request to display a user interface for accessing a first function of the electronic device. In response to receiving the first request, and in accordance with a determination that the electronic device is under water, the method includes displaying a first user interface for accessing the first function. In response to receiving the first request, and in accordance with a determination that the electronic device is not under water, the method also includes displaying a second user interface for accessing the first function.

Underwater user interface

A portable electronic device may include a housing, a display at least partially within the housing, a transparent cover over the display, and a battery at least partially within the housing. The battery may include a battery cell, a pouch encasing the battery cell, and a gas release relief system including a gas-permeable membrane configured to prevent liquid from escaping the pouch and a valve configured to selectively release gas from the pouch. The device may also include a processing system configured to, in a first mode of operation, cause the valve to open to allow gas to be released from the pouch, and, in a second mode of operation, cause the valve to close.

A method of providing a graphical output may include scanning at least a portion of a user's face using a sensor; generating a depth map using the scan; and determining a similarity score between the depth map and a set of stored biometric identity maps that are associated with a registered user. The method may further determine a corrective eyewear scenario, select a display profile that is associated with the corrective eyewear scenario, and generate a graphical output in accordance with the selected display profile.

A method for machine learning based artifact rejection is provided. The method may include applying a machine learning model to identify artefactual independent components in transcranial magnetic stimulation electroencephalogram data collected during a transcranial magnetic stimulation procedure. Clean transcranial magnetic stimulation electroencephalogram data is generated by removing, from the transcranial magnetic stimulation electroencephalogram data, the artefactual independent components. Real-time adjustments to parameters of the transcranial magnetic stimulation procedure may be performed based on the clean transcranial magnetic stimulation electroencephalogram data. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.

Inventive aspects include a polar code encoding system, which includes a partitioning unit to receive and partition input data into partitioned input data units. Encoders encode the partitioned input data units, and generate encoded partitioned input data units. Multiplier units perform matrix multiplication on the partitioned input data units and generator matrices, and generate matrix products. Adder units perform matrix addition on the encoded partitioned input data units and the matrix products. A combining unit combines outputs of the encoders into a target code word X. A stylus and/or a host device can be provided with components to mitigate and/or avoid damage to the stylus and/or the host device when dropped. Such components can cause the stylus and the electronic device to separate when drop motion is detected. Such separation can reduce and/or prevent damage that would have otherwise occurred if the stylus and the electronic device remained coupled together during impact. Examples of coupling and detachment mechanisms include magnetic and mechanical components.

The method includes ranking each product listing in the filtered set based at least on a product-score representing a likelihood of the first user interacting with the respective product. The product-score is based on interaction information associated with the first user, product information associated with the product, and sparse information associated with the first user. The method includes sending, to the client system of the first user, a subset of the ranked product listings.

A gate driver circuit includes an input terminal for receiving an input switching signal for driving a switching circuit that has a high-side transistor and a low-side transistor vertically stacked. The gate driver circuit also includes a dead-time control circuit, that includes two dead-time measurement circuits. The first dead-time measurement circuit produces a first pulse signal having a first pulse width representing a first dead-time between when a gate voltage of the low-side transistor falls below a first threshold voltage and when a gate voltage of the high-side transistor rises above a second threshold voltage.
