A composition for cross talk between estrogen receptors and cannabinoid receptors including a chelator and a receptor ligand is provided. A method of synthesizing the composition is also provided, and the composition may be further prepared in pharmaceutical formulations or kits for therapy or molecular imaging.

Composition for cross talk between estrogen receptors and cannabinoid receptors

A compound represented by formula (I) is provided, wherein in formula (I), Rand Reach independently represents hydrogen, O&#x2014;Ror S&#x2014;R, at least one of Rand Ris O&#x2014;Ror S&#x2014;R, and Rand Rare independently a Cto Calkyl group, such that the Cto Calkyl group is non-substituted or substituted with at least one selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;OH, &#x2014;NH, halogen, ester, ether, and carboxylic acid, and M being a metal or a metal-containing compound. The compound represented by formula (I) is shown to have higher specificity to tumor cells, and is therefore suitable for carrying anti-cancer drugs and/or nuclear imaging agents.
