A computing device for floating-point mathematic operation using look-up table is provided. The computing device includes: a bit arrangement unit used for receiving a floating-point input data and performing a bit arrangement or a format conversion on the floating-point input data to generate multiple index blocks; a first look-up table unit group used for receiving the index blocks and performing look-up operation using the index blocks as index to generate a plurality of look-up table results; and an operation unit used for performing operation on the look-up table results of the first look-up table unit group to generate an operation output.

Computing method and computing device for floating-point mathematic operation using lookup table

A hardware accelerator is provided. The hardware accelerator includes a first memory; a source address generation unit coupled to the first memory; a data collection unit coupled to the first memory; a first data queue coupled to the data collection unit; a data dispersion unit coupled to the first data queue; a destination address generation unit coupled to the data dispersion unit; an address queue coupled to the destination address generation unit; a second data queue coupled to the data dispersion unit; and a second memory coupled to the second data queue. The hardware accelerator can perform anyone or any combination of tensor stride, tensor reshape and tensor transpose to achieve tensorflow depth-to-space permutation or tensorflow space-to-depth permutation.

Hardware accelerator

An imaging system includes an image combiner, at least one reflecting mirror, an image generating device and an indication mark. The at least one reflecting mirror is disposed with respect to the image combiner. The image generating device is disposed with respect to the at least one reflecting mirror. When the image generating device displays an image, a light projected by the image generating device is reflected by the at least one reflecting mirror to the image combiner, so as to form a virtual image through the image combiner. The indicating mark is disposed at a periphery of the image combiner.

Imaging system

A projection device and a photo coupler circuit for the same are disclosed. The photo coupler circuit includes a logic unit, a number of integration units and a selection unit. The logic unit is configured to receive a number of first control signals and a number of first PWM signals from a main circuit of the projection device, and to output a number of second PWM signals and one or more second control signals according to the first control signals and the first PWM signals. The integration units are coupled to the logic unit. Each of the integration units is configured to generate an integration signal according to one of the second PWM signals. The selection unit is coupled to the integration units to select one of the integration signals to be output to a light source drive circuit of the projection device according to the second control signals.

Projection device and photo coupler circuit for the same

A projector includes a light source, a color wheel, a housing, a motor, a lens module, an optical detection module, and a feedback module. The light source is used for providing a light beam. The color wheel includes a plurality of optical filtering segments for generating light with a plurality of colors. The housing is connected to the color wheel. The housing has a timing mark. The motor is connected to the housing for rotating the color wheel through the housing. The lens module is used for outputting the light with the plurality of colors. When the housing is rotated, the optical detection module generates a pulse width modulation signal according variations of gray levels of the housing. The feedback module is coupled to the optical detection module for conditionally outputting an adjusted voltage to the optical detection module according to the pulse width modulation signal.

Projector with a dust resistance capability for long term operations

An imaging system includes an image combiner, at least one reflecting mirror, an image generating device, a communication module and a distance sensor. The at least one reflecting mirror is disposed with respect to the image combiner. The image generating device is disposed with respect to the at least one reflecting mirror. When the image generating device displays an image, a light projected by the image generating device is reflected by the at least one reflecting mirror to the image combiner, so as to form a virtual image through the image combiner. The distance sensor senses a distance between an object and the imaging system and transmits the distance to the image generating device through the communication module. When the image generating device determines that the distance is larger than a predetermined threshold, the image generating device adjusts a display size of the image according to the distance.

A color wheel phase detection method and a projector using the same are provided. Firstly, a projector, including a light source, a color wheel, a motor, an indication signal generator and a controller, is provided, wherein the motor drive having n pairs of magnetic polarities drives the color wheel, including n color block groups of the same kind, to rotate, wherein n is a positive integer &#x2265;1. Then, the color wheel is driven to rotate by the motor. Then, a light is projected on the n color block groups by the light source. Then, a phase signal having 2n zero-crossing points is generated by the motor. Then, an indication signal including n pulses corresponding to n zero-crossing points is generated by the indication signal generator according to the 2n zero-crossing points. Then, the phase of the color wheel is detected by the controller according to the indication signal.

A system can include first and second rows of storage devices installed in a storage rack, the first and second rows having a first distance between consecutive storage devices. The second row can be located behind the first row and farther away from a source of an airflow than the first row. The system can monitor a temperature associated with the second row and when the temperature rises above a threshold, the system can remove a storage device from the first row. The system can then adjust placement within the first row such that the remaining devices have a second, larger distance between each other to increase airflow to storage devices in the second row and reduce system impedance.

The system comprises a housing with a first end and a second end, a first plurality of partitions disposed in the housing, and a second plurality of partitions disposed in the housing. Each of the first plurality of partitions includes at least one first ventilation opening associated with each of the plurality of compartments. Each one of the second plurality of partitions comprises at least one partition duct extending through the plurality of partition rows and at least one second ventilation opening connecting the at least one partition duct to associated ones of the plurality of compartments.

A projector includes a color wheel module and a processing unit. The color wheel module includes a color wheel including multiple color-filtering areas for providing multiple colors of light; a shaft connected to the color wheel for driving the color wheel to spin and including a reflecting surface and a mark; a fixing part disposed corresponding to the shaft; a light transceiver set on the fixing part for emitting light and receiving the light reflected by the shaft; and a vibrator set on the fixing part for vibrating when meeting a vibrating condition to shake off dust on the color wheel, the shaft and/or the light transceiver. The processing unit is coupled to the light transceiver for analyzing a spinning angle of the color wheel according to the light received by the light transceiver.

Projector and color wheel module dust removing method

A projector including a lens, an IR emission circuit, an IR reception circuit and a central processing circuit is provided. The projector is controlled by a first infrared ray (IR) signal provided by a remote controller. The IR emission circuit emits a second IR signal to detect whether an obstacle is positioned on an optical path of the projection light. When an obstacle is positioned on the optical path, the second IR signal is reflected to the IR reception circuit via the obstacle. The IR reception circuit provides a first and a second output signal in response to the first and the second IR signal respectively. The central processing circuit determines that an obstacle is positioned on the optical path and accordingly alters an operational mode of the projector in response to the second output signal and controls the operation of the projector in response to the first output signal.
