An example non-transitory machine-readable medium includes recovery instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to detect a corruption of first installed instructions of first component firmware at a computing device and second installed instructions of second component firmware at the computing device. In response to detection of the corruption during pre-boot, if the first installed instructions are detected as corrupt, the recovery instructions request and receive first replacement instructions from a first network address, and replace in the computing device the first installed instructions with the first replacement instructions. If the second installed instructions are detected as corrupt, the recovery instructions request and receive second replacement instructions from a second network address different from the first network address, and replace in the computing device the second installed instructions with the second replacement instructions.

The present invention provides an electrocardiographic monitoring device comprising a device body configured to be attached to a user's chest; a plurality of electrodes provided on the device body; and a controller provided on the device body and connected to the electrodes in order to obtain the user's electrocardiographic signal waveforms. The electrocardiographic monitoring device of the invention can be applied in a blood pressure monitoring system for monitoring a user's blood pressure.

The forming the external electrical connector structure includes plating a pillar on the substrate at a first agitation level affected at the substrate in a first solution. The method further includes plating solder on the external electrical connector structure at a second agitation level affected at the substrate in a second solution. The second agitation level affected at the substrate is greater than the first agitation level affected at the substrate. The plating the solder further forms a shell on a sidewall of the external electrical connector structure.

A remotely controllable electronic device comprises an infrared receiver, a control unit and a toggle detector. The infrared receiver is for wirelessly receiving a plurality of control signals. The control unit is coupled to the infrared receiver and generates a plurality of function signals. Each function signal is corresponding to one of the control signals received by the infrared receiver. The toggle detector is coupled to the control unit and receives electricity from a power source through a switching element. The toggle detector determines the power status of the electricity coming from the switching element in a predetermined period and generates a learning mode signal to the control unit when the switching element is switched a plurality of times during the predetermined period. The remotely controllable electronic device could be control by the control signals of any infrared remote control.

A video-processing chip capable of saving power is disclosed. The video-processing chip includes a microprocessor, a scalar, a first memory, and a second memory. The microprocessor is used for executing program codes. The scalar is used for adjusting a size of a received image. The first memory is coupled to the microprocessor and to the scalar for providing memory space to the scalar for image processing. The second memory is coupled to the microprocessor for storing the program codes of the microprocessor for controlling a power switch. Wherein a size of the first memory is greater than a size of the second memory.

Video-processing chip, audio-video system and related method capable of saving power

An antenna module and an electronic apparatus are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a housing and the antenna module. The housing has an inner surface. The antenna module includes a circuit board, a proximity sensor and a sensing antenna patch. The circuit board is disposed in the housing, and has a top surface and a bottom surface opposite to the top surface. The circuit board has a communication antenna pattern on the top surface. The proximity sensor is mounted on the bottom surface. The sensing antenna patch is assembled on the inner surface of the housing and electrically connected to the proximity sensor. An orthogonal projection of the communication antenna pattern on the inner surface overlaps the sensing antenna patch on the inner surface.

An AV player chip includes a TV encoder, a timing controller, a multiplexer and a plurality of digital-to-analog converters. The TV encoder is used for transforming a first image signal into a TV video signal. The timing controller is used for generating an output signal. The multiplexer includes a first set of input ends coupled to the TV encoder, a second set of input ends coupled to the timing controller, a control end and a set of output ends. The second circuit is coupled to a battery, the first switch, the second switch, and the first circuit for controlling the first switch and the second switch.

A video player provides a video signal to a display device. A selection unit outputs a first signal of an interlaced format or outputting a second signal of a progressive format according to a state of a selection signal. A frequency generator outputs a first frequency or a second frequency according to the state of the selection signal. An adjuster executes a first operation with the signal output from the selection unit for generating a process signal according to the frequency output from the frequency generator. A processor executes a second operation with the process signal for generating the video signal.
