A communication system includes a contact lens element and a wearable device. The contact lens element has a communication function. The wearable device includes a transceiver circuit, a first metal structure, a second metal structure, and a reflector. The transceiver circuit includes a wireless communication circuit and a wireless charge circuit. The first metal structure is coupled to the wireless communication circuit. The first metal structure is configured to communicate with the contact lens element. The second metal structure is coupled to the wireless charge circuit. The second metal structure is configured to provide electric power for the contact lens element. The reflector is adjacent to the first metal structure and the second metal structure, so as to reflect radiation energy from the first metal structure and the second metal structure.

Communication system and wearable device and communication method thereof

A detection device for detecting an eyeball includes a frame element, a transceiver, and a contact lens element. The transceiver is disposed on the frame element. The transceiver transmits a first RF (Radio Frequency) signal. The contact lens element includes a resonator. The resonator converts the first RF signal into a first ultrasonic signal. The first ultrasonic signal is transmitted to the eyeball. The resonator converts a second ultrasonic signal from the eyeball into a second RF signal. The transceiver receives the second RF signal.

Device and method for detection

A system includes first electronic devices and a digital signature carrier. Each of the first electronic devices has a network identifier distinct from another. The digital signature carrier is configured for recording a connective information list. The connective information list includes the network identifiers of all of the first electronic devices. A second electronic device includes a digital signature reader. The second electronic device is configured to read the digital signature carrier by the digital signature reader, extract the connective information list comprising the network identifiers and pair the second electronic device with each of the first electronic devices according to the network identifiers.

A multimedia module receives multimedia content via a first signal path of the transmission cable. A multi-sensing module obtains sensing information regarding the head mounted display apparatus and the user. A power management device controls the power status of the multimedia module, the multi-sensing module, and the peripheral hub according to a power voltage via a third signal path of the transmission cable. The micro control unit detects in which mode the virtual reality system is operating according to the signal status of the first and second signal paths of the transmission cable to notify the power management device to control the power status of the multimedia module, the multi-sensing module, and the peripheral hub.

Virtual reality system and method for controlling operation modes of virtual reality system

A virtual reality system is provided. The virtual reality system includes a host device, a transmission cable, and a head mounted display apparatus worn by a user and coupled to the host device via the transmission cable. The head mounted display apparatus includes a multimedia module, a multi-sensing module, and a peripheral hub. The multimedia module receives multimedia content from the host device via the transmission cable, and displays a video part of the multimedia content. The multi-sensing module obtains sensing information regarding the head mounted display apparatus, the user and an obstruction. The peripheral hub provides the sensing information to the host device via the transmission cable. At least one virtual object of the video part of the multimedia content is adjusted in response to the sensing information.

An electronic device including a signal generating circuit and a movable sensing circuit is provided. The signal generating circuit generates a sensory signal through a signal source. The movable sensing circuit generates a feedback signal in response to a detection signal from the signal generating circuit, and transmits the feedback signal to the signal generating circuit. The signal generating circuit obtains a first distance value between the signal source and the movable sensing circuit based on the feedback signal, and adjusts the intensity of the sensory signal according to the first distance value.

A virtual reality system is provided. The virtual reality system includes a host device and a head mounted display apparatus to be worn by a user. The head mounted display apparatus includes a first wireless module, a second wireless module, a multimedia module, a multi-sensing module, and a peripheral hub. The multi-sensing module obtains sensing information regarding the head mounted display apparatus and the user. The peripheral hub receives communication data from the host device through the second wireless module, and provides the sensing information to the host device through the second wireless module.

Virtual reality system

A data transmission method for a data transmission system including a first device and a second device is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of transmitting a clock signal to synchronize the first device and the second device; transmitting a mode signal from the first device to the second device, wherein the mode signal indicates a transmission mode between the first device and the second device; and transmitting a serial data between the first device and the second device based on the clock signal, wherein the length of the serial data is determined based on the transmission mode.

Data transmission method and system

An electronic device including a housing, a connector port and a switching device is provided. The connector port is embedded in the housing for a peripheral device inserted therein to electrically connect thereto. The processor is electrically connected to the connector port and comprises a detection pin and a 1-wire pin. The switching device is coupled between the connector port and the processor to selectively connect the connector port to one of the detection pin or the 1-wire pin. When the peripheral device is inserted into the connector port, the processor controls the switching device to connect the connector port to the detection pin to determine whether the connected peripheral device is a 1-wire device. When the processor determines that the connected peripheral device is a 1-wire device, the processor controls the switching device to connect the connector port to the 1-wire pin and the processor executes 1-wire communication with the peripheral device via the 1-wire pin.

Portable device and peripheral extension dock

A portable electronic device is provided. Connector includes the first and data pins. Processor includes input and output pins and detection pin coupled to the input pin. First resistor is coupled between the detection pin and first voltage. When the processor detects that the first and second pins of charger are coupled to the first and second data pins of the connector, the processor provides switching signal to the selector, so as to couple the first and second data pins of the connector to the input and output pins of the processor, respectively, and to provide second voltage different from the first voltage, to the second pin of the charger via the output pin. The processor obtains charging current value of the charger according to voltage of the detection pin. The charger includes second resistor coupled between the first and second pins.

A portable electronic device and an accessory device thereof, and an operating method for a portable electronic device. According to the disclosure, an accessory device coupled at a universal serial bus connector of a portable electronic device is detected and identified via the identification pin of the universal serial bus connector. When it is identified that the accessory device supports 1-wire communication via the identification pin, the accessory device is accessed via the 1-wire communication via the identification pin.

An electronic device and a method for driving an internal function block of a processor of the electric device to operate in a linear region. The electronic device comprises a processor having two multiple purpose pins (MPPand MPP), an external device connection port, and two resistance elements. The external device connection port is further connected to the MPPand at a tested voltage. The first resistance element is connected between a high level voltage and the external device connection port. The second resistance element is connected between the external device connection port and the MPP. The processor is configured to output the high or low level voltage at MPPwhen the tested voltage is in a non-linear operating region, to guarantee the tested voltage to a linear operating region of the function block which is coupled to the MPPby a multiplexing design.
