A heat dissipation device for a projector includes a light source, a light valve, a prism set, a shading element, and a projection lens. The light source emits a light beam. The light valve is disposed downstream of a light path of the light source to receive the light beam, convert a part of the light beam into image light and another part of the light beam into an ineffective light beam. The prism set includes at least one prism, receiving the image light and the ineffective light beam. The shading element includes a heat dissipation part and is disposed downstream of a light path of the prism set and used to block the ineffective light beam from the prism set. The projection lens is disposed downstream of the light path of the prism set.

Heat dissipation device for projector

A heat-dissipating device used in a projection display apparatus with an air outlet includes a fence module, at least one resilient member, and a shape memory alloy module. The fence module is disposed at the air outlet and includes at least one guiding plate with a pivot. The resilient member exerts a first force on the guiding plate to enable the guiding plate to rotate on the pivot, and the shape memory alloy module deforms when heated to exert a second force on the guiding plate to enable the guiding plate to rotate on the pivot.

Heat-dissipating device with shape memory alloy module within a projection display apparatus

An illumination module includes a light source, a supporting element, a guiding tube and an airflow generator. The supporting element is fixed relative to the light source. The guiding tube is pivoted to the supporting element and adjacent to the light source. The guiding tube is capable of moving between a first position and a second position relative to the light source. The airflow generator has an airflow outlet and is capable of generating an airflow. The airflow outlet is adjacent to the guiding tube. The airflow flows into the light source through the guiding tube. The invention also provides a projector with the illumination module.

Illumination module and projector

A lamp includes a lampwick, a reflector, and a shade. The reflector has an opening and a bottom portion opposite to the opening. The lampwick is disposed at the bottom portion and passes through the bottom portion and at least one part of the lampwick is disposed in the reflector. The shade disposed outside the reflector covers a part of the reflector. The shade connected to the bottom portion has an inlet and an outlet. The inlet and the outlet are disposed at two opposite sides of the reflector respectively. An air flow flows into the space between the reflector and the shade through the inlet. At least one part of the air flow flows through the outlet along a flowing direction. An included angle defined between the flowing direction and a transmitting direction of an illumination light beam formed by the reflector is an acute angle.

Lamp and optical projector

An illuminating device adapted to a projecting apparatus including a lamp module, a power module, and a fan is provided. The lamp module is separately disposed in the projecting apparatus. The lamp module has a lamp, an igniting module and a plate. The igniting module is capable of generating a high voltage signal to drive the lamp. The plate is disposed between the lamp and the igniting module for shielding radiating heat generated by the lamp. The power module is capable of generating a low voltage signal transmitted to the igniting module through a low voltage power line. The igniting module transforms the low voltage signal into the high voltage signal to drive the lamp. The fan is disposed at a first side of the lamp for cooling the lamp.

Illuminating device and projecting apparatus using the same

An illuminant module includes a lamp including a lampwick, a reflector and a guide cap, a lamp holder, a blower, and an axial fan. At least one portion of the lampwick is disposed in the reflector. The guide cap having a guide wall, a first air outlet, and a first air inlet is connected to the reflector and covers an opening of the reflector. The lamp holder has a space where the lamp is disposed, a second air inlet corresponding to the first one, a third air inlet adjacent to the second one, a fourth air inlet adjacent to the third one, a second air outlet corresponding to the first one, and a third air outlet adjacent to the second one. The blower outside the space is disposed at the second air inlet. The axial fan outside the space is disposed adjacent to the third and fourth air inlets.

Illuminant module and optical projection device

A light valve device includes a light valve disposed adjacent to a circuit board, and a heat-dissipating structure including a heat-dissipating main body and a heat-dissipating block. The heat-dissipating main body is disposed opposite to the light valve, and is formed with a groove defined by a first contacting surface and two engaging surfaces. The first contacting surface extends in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the vertical direction and has two opposite longitudinal edges. The engaging surfaces respectively extend from the longitudinal edges and define an open side of the groove opposite to the first contacting surface in the vertical direction. The open side has a width in the transverse direction smaller than that of the first contacting surface. An engaging portion of the heat-dissipating block is disposed in the groove so that a second contacting surface is in contact with the first contacting surface.

Light valve device

A light source module comprises a case, a light source, a first air-circulation device, a second air-circulation device and an airflow guide. The case has an airflow outlet, and other components are disposed therein. The airflow guider includes a first stream-guiding part and a second stream-guiding part connected thereto. The first stream-guiding part and the airflow outlet are at a same side of the light source, the second stream-guiding part is over the light source. The first airflow provided by the first air-circulation device passes past the light source, arrives at the first stream-guiding part, flows from the front of the light source towards the back of the light source guided by the second stream-guiding part, and mixes up with the second airflow provided by the second air-circulation device and finally exits from the airflow outlet. Therefore, concentrated heat is prevented at the airflow outlet.

Light source module and projection display having the same

A heat dissipation structure for an ellipsoidal lamp to provide an improved cooling effect for the ellipsoidal lamp has a redesigned shape and installing location for the blower duct that extends the outlet thereof to the edge of effective light beam zone of the ellipsoidal lamp so that the outlet is most close to the hot spots that require heat dissipation. Airflow ejected from the blower duct also is prevented from scattering to improve heat dissipation effect. The outlet may have a guiding plate located therein to channel the airflow close to the hot spots and match the shape of a reflection hood to improve airflow without scattering.
