A liquid crystal display device integrated with a touch screen panel includes a liquid crystal panel, a touch screen panel, a backlight unit, a mold frame and a fixing member. The liquid crystal panel displays an image. The touch screen panel is provided on a front side of the liquid crystal panel. The backlight unit irradiates light onto the liquid crystal panel. The mold frame accommodates and supports the liquid crystal panel and the backlight unit. The fixing member is fastened to one side of the mold frame to fix the touch screen panel on the liquid crystal panel.

Liquid crystal display device integrated with touch screen panel

A liquid crystal display ('LCD') includes; a lower receiving container which includes; a bottom plate, sidewalls extending from the bottom plate, a first through-hole formed in the bottom plate, and a guide pole disposed on the bottom plate and which substantially surrounds the first through-hole, a plurality of light sources disposed within the lower receiving container; an optical sensor printed circuit board ('PCB') attached to a bottom surface of the bottom plate, wherein the optical sensor printed circuit board covers the first through-hole, and an optical sensor mounted on the optical sensor PCB and inserted into the first through-hole.

A backlight assembly includes a first receiving container including a bottom plate, at least one sidewall extending from the bottom plate and an opening portion disposed in the sidewall, a printed circuit board disposed contacting an outer surface of the at least one sidewall and including a first side and a second side opposing the first side, a light source disposed on the first side of the printed circuit board and generating light emitted through the opening portion of the sidewall, and a light guide plate disposed on the bottom plate of the first receiving container, and guiding light emitted from the light source and incident to a light incident surface of the light guide plate.

Backlight assembly and liquid crystal display apparatus having the same

A display device includes a display panel; a backlight unit disposed behind the display panel; a panel supporting part; and a first cover. The first cover includes a first cover part disposed along a non-display region of the display panel. The display device further includes a plurality of second cover parts extending downward from the first cover part. The panel supporting part includes a first supporting part disposed between the display panel and the backlight unit. The first supporting part supports the display panel. The panel supporting part also includes a plurality of second supporting parts extending upward from an edge portion of the first supporting part. The second supporting part is disposed alternately with the second cover parts. The second cover parts and the second supporting part face the lateral side of the display panel.

Display device

A connector that is capable of reducing defects in display apparatuses is presented. The connector includes a body, a plurality of terminals and a cover. The body has a base and a sidewall. The terminals are disposed on the body and arranged to make an electrical connection with the electrical circuit when the electrical circuit is received by the body. The cover includes a rotation axis, a fixing portion extending from the rotation axis such that the fixing portion is substantially parallel to the base of the body, and a protrusion portion protruding from the rotation axis substantially perpendicularly to the base of the body. The connector prevents electrical discharge from the flexible printed circuit board to the electrical circuit and prevents physical damage to the electrical circuit. Therefore, defect rate decreases and a yield of a display apparatus increases.
