A hearing instrument contains a case and a sound tube. The instrument has a case/tube connection that is simple, easy to assemble, and can be established and released in a reversible manner. The hearing instrument has a case in which a receiver is disposed, and a sound tube for conveying output signals. Disposed in the case is a mounting insert having a receiver compartment and a socket. The receiver is inserted in the receiver compartment and the socket has a circumferential recess or ridge. The sound tube has a plug with a ridge or recess corresponding to the circumferential recess or ridge of the socket. The socket and plug can be reversibly interconnected and detached. The mounting insert obviates the need for an additional sound-conducting connecting piece between receiver and sound tube. This reduces the component count and improves a seal-tightness of the connection between receiver and sound tube.

In an embodiment, a hearing aid faceplate arrangement () is provided. The hearing aid faceplate arrangement () may include a hearing aid housing and a faceplate arrangement () positioned on the hearing aid housing. The faceplate arrangement () may include a faceplate (), the faceplate () including a receiving portion () and a faceplate module (), the faceplate module () including a faceplate module housing () having an electronic circuit (). A receiver tube for connecting a receiver to a hearing aid instrument and a hearing aid instrument with a receiver tube, include a connection which ensures good acoustic stability and low feedback tendencies, can be produced in an uncomplicated manner and has high impact and shock strength. The receiver tube includes a receiver connector constructed as a cup at least partly holding a receiver when connected together. The receiver connector includes a form-locking mechanism for a receiver and a flexible element for locking the receiver. The form-locking connection simplifies installation of the receiver during production or replacement by requiring neither application of a force, as when pretensioning or expanding force-locking connections, nor establishment of an adhesive connection. The locking mechanism can be opened/closed by the flexible element. The cup-shape of the receiver connector contributes to increased rigidity and reliability of the form-locking connection to the receiver and an acoustic shield.

In an embodiment, a hearing aid housing is provided. The hearing aid housing may include a first behind-the-ear hearing aid housing portion, a second behind-the-ear hearing aid housing portion, and a moisture protector at least partially arranged between the first behind-the-ear hearing aid housing portion and the second behind-the-ear hearing aid housing portion.

A method and a graphics facility are provided to allow a choice of hearing apparatus to be made easier for a user via a three-dimensional presentation of a hearing apparatus on a head of a user. A 3D model of the hearing apparatus is provided as a virtual hearing apparatus and a 3D model of the head of the user or of a part thereof is obtained as a virtual head. The virtual hearing apparatus is subsequently aligned to the virtual head so that the virtual head can be presented graphically in three dimensions along with the fitted virtual hearing apparatus. This especially allows different types and colors of hearing apparatus to be represented in an animation on the user's head.

A hearing aid contains a microphone detecting an acoustic input signal and converts it to an electrical output signal, a receiver producing an acoustic output signal being dependent on an electrical output signal of the microphone, and a transmitter transmitting a monitoring signal, which is dependent on the electrical output signal. A transceiver contains a receiver for receiving the monitoring signal, and a signal processing device for processing the monitoring signal. The signal processing device processes the monitoring signal to produce an indication signal which is acoustically restricted with respect to the monitoring signal such that it simulates a restricted hearing capability of a person, or which indicates an operating/signal state of the hearing aid. The transmission of the monitoring signal to the transceiver and the processing to form the indication signal provides information about the state of the hearing aid for monitoring of the hearing aid.

A method and hearing aid mold are provided for a hearing device with a first segment for insertion into the auditory canal of the user, a second segment, which projects into the concha of the user when inserted, and a vent, which runs from the first segment into the second segment. A vent opening, which may be enclosed by a titanium ring, is directed in the second segment toward the outer ear of the user, so that an exchange of air can be achieved between the auditory canal and the rear of the outer ear through an opening in the outer ear. Ventilation of the auditory canal from the rear of the outer ear reduces the risk of feedback.

A hearing apparatus is to be provided, with which the battery can be exchanged in an almost wear-free fashion. Provision is thus made to magnetically attach a battery compartment or a battery holding device in the housing of the hearing apparatus or hearing device. The battery holding device is inserted into an opening in the housing. A detachable magnetic connection realized by magnetic elements thus exists between the housing and the battery holding device, the principle force component of which runs in the insertion direction. It is thus possible to dispense with plug or snap connections for instance.

The invention relates to a securing system for a receiver tube in a hearing device. The object of the invention is to provide a securing system for the receiver tube in a hearing device, which reliably prevents the occurrence of disruptive acoustic feedback and does not require adhesive to secure the receiver tube. This object of the invention is achieved with a hearing device, in particular a BTE hearing device, in which a receiver facility is disposed, wherein the hearing device has a connector piece, which is connected to the receiver facility by way of a receiver tube, in order to conduct an acoustic signal or acoustic signals generated by the receiver facility to an acoustic output of the hearing device, with the receiver tube being provided with a connecting element, which connects the receiver tube and the connector piece to each other in an essentially acoustically sealed manner.

A hearing aid has at least one converter element which, in order to reduce mechanical vibrations, is flexibly attached inside or at the hearing aid housing. The converter is mounted in the housing by at least one clip that flexibly is moveable or displaceable in its range of action like a spring, in order to damp and attach the converter element.

A hearing device, in particular a hearing system, is designed more acoustically stable with regard to feedback as well as more mechanically stable with regard to external influences by a sound emission tube for direct connection to an output nozzle of an earpiece of a hearing device. The sound emission tube has an outer sheath made from a first plastic and an inner wall made from a second plastic that is more elastic than the first plastic. The outer sheath and the inner wall are produced by 2-component injection molding. The inner wall damps vibrations from the earpiece outward or shocks from the outside to the earpiece. Conversely, the outer sheath provides for the mechanical stability and the sufficiently rigid mounting of the earpiece.

An ear hook is to be able to be tightly attached to a hearing device housing in a simple fashion. To this end, provision is made for it to be possible to clip the ear hook onto the hearing device housing. One of the two parts; hearing device housing and ear hook has a sound outlet tube, which can be inserted into a corresponding opening in the other part. The two parts are detachably fastened to one another in an axial direction in respect of the sound outlet tube by means of a magnetic connection. The magnetic connection ensures that the two components are fitted tightly onto one another, though it enables said two components to rotate in respect of each other.

Hearing apparatuses and in particular hearing devices are to be designed smaller. To this end, provision is made to integrate an electrical control facility for controlling the hearing apparatus into the cover for covering a programming connection of the hearing apparatus. This multifunctionality of the cover allows installation space to be saved. It is particularly favorable if an actuating element of an electrical push button is mounted to the same bolt, to which the cover itself is also mounted.
