A trading card () comprises a first substrate (A), a second substrate (B) and a spacer (A). The first substrate (A) includes a first card image (). The second substrate (B) includes a second card image (). The second substrate (B) is spaced apart from the first substrate (A). The spacer (A) is positioned substantially between the first substrate (A) and the second substrate (B) to maintain the first card image () spaced apart from the second card image (). The trading card () can further comprise a third substrate (C) and a second spacer (B). The third substrate (C) includes a third card image (). The third substrate (C) is spaced apart from the first substrate (A) and the second substrate (B). The second spacer (B) is positioned substantially between the second substrate (B) and the third substrate (C) to maintain the second card image () spaced apart from the third card image (). The first card image (), the second card image () and the third card image () can cooperate to form a full card image ().

A trading card game () includes a first card () having only one immovable section (). The game () also includes a second card () including a first section () and a second section (). The second section () can be slidable relative to the first section () so that the second card () moves between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a portion of the second section () is unexposed to the players. In the second position, the portion of the second section () is exposed to the players, and influences the outcome of at least a portion of the game ().

Trading card game including trading card having a selectively unexposed section

A trading card includes a front wall, a back wall, a bottom wall, and a top wall. The front wall retains a viewing lens. The back wall retains an image. The bottom wall extends between the front wall and the back wall. The top wall extends between the front wall and the back wall. Three of the walls are moveable relative to the other wall to move the trading card from a folded configuration to an unfolded configuration. In the folded configuration, the walls are substantially parallel to each other. Further, in the unfolded configuration, the front wall and the back wall are substantially parallel and spaced apart, and the bottom wall and the top wall are substantially parallel and spaced apart. Additionally, the image is viewable through the viewing lens when the trading card is in the unfolded configuration. Moreover, the image can be on a piece of film and the viewing lens can be a magnifying lens. With this design, the trading card can be sized and shaped like a regular trading card when the trading card is in the folded configuration and the trading card can be simply expanded from the folded configuration to the unfolded configuration in which the trading card functions as a magnifying viewing box.
