A linear motion reciprocating pump having a cylindrical housing, a magnetically permeable plunger mounted for reciprocal motion in said housing, the plunger including an opening to permit the passage of fluid from one end of the housing through the plunger to the other end of the housing, a power coil mounted on one end of the housing for attracting the plunger toward the one end, a reset coil mounted on the other end of the housing for attracting the plunger toward the other end of the housing, an electrical circuit operatively connected to energize the coils, the circuit including means for alternately controlling the enerization of the coils in phase to reciprocate said plunger in the housing whereby the voltage across the energized coil crosses through zero causing the plunger to be expelled from the energized coil just prior to energization of the other coil.

An ozone generator of the type having a high tension electrode and a grounded electrode mounted in a spaced relation, one of the electrodes having a dielectric member applied to or mounted on one of the surfaces of the electrode, the dielectric member including a layer of resilient dielectric material having a coating of particles of an inorganic material either sprinkled on or embedded in the surface of said dielectric material facing the other electrode and a timing circuit connected to said electrodes to provide a constant voltage pulse at intermittent time intervals, the voltage pulses being controlled by a silicon controlled rectifier and the frequency of said rectifier being controlled by a bilateral mosfet.

Resilient dielectric electrode for corona discharge devices

A corona discharge device having a roll electrode and a segmented corona discharge electrode assembly mounted in a spaced relation to the roll electrode, the electrode assembly including a number of electrode segments mounted in a staggered relation with respect to said roll electrode, each segment including a hollow tubular electrically conductive electrode and a cup-shaped insulator mounted on the end of the electrode, the insulator including a base having an opening in the center, a tubular wall section surrounding the outside of the electrode and a vent tube aligned with the opening in the base and extending into the electrode to provide a vent passage for drawing air or blowing air across the face of the surface of the base of the insulator, and an electricity conductive adhesive for securing the insulator to the electrode and providing an even electrical field between the base and the surface of the base race electrode.
