A display system includes a tray portion configured to hold and display product and a display header which is movably coupled to the tray portion. The display header includes a header board connected to a header mount via a rigid stem. The display header is movable from a retracted shipping position to an extended display position. An actuator movably couples the header mount and the stem to a wall of the tray portion by applying a biasing force which automatically pivots the header mount and stem to an upright position thereby placing the display header into the extended display position.

Product display with self-deploying header

A reinforced container system comprises a container having a bottom wall, a pair of opposite side walls, a pair of opposite end walls, and opposed pairs of diagonal corner panels interposed between adjacent side and end walls to form an interior space. The bottom wall includes two opposed glue panels each of which is foldably joined to respective longitudinal edges of the bottom wall and each of which attached to the respective side walls. A protective sleeve is configured to detachably attach to the container. The protective sleeve includes two side walls, two end walls and opposed pairs of diagonal corner walls interposed between adjacent side and end walls. The side walls, the end walls and the diagonal corner walls are joined to one another along four vertical hinges to whereby protect the container against tremendous forces and inertia caused by mixing or shaking machinery.

Reinforced container system

An easy to carry lightweight carton for shipping and storing cut paper and for providing rapid and easy access to the paper when the carton is opened. The carton has a base portion and a lid pivotally attached to the base portion. A front wall of the carton may be pivoted down when the lid is pivoted up to facilitate access to the contents of the carton for ease of unloading of paper from the carton. A carry handle is built into the lid to facilitate carrying of the carton. The carton may be re-closed after it is opened.

According to one aspect of the present invention, a container is provided for shipping a plurality of items, such as pre-wrapped reams of cut-sized paper, more particularly, a container for shipping items is provided, comprising: a base portion sized to receive a plurality of items therein; a lid portion sized to fit over the base portion, thereby enclosing the plurality of items therein; wherein at least a portion of either the base portion or the lid portion includes a break-away section for at least partially opening the container to permit removal of at least one of the plurality of items therefrom.

Reamed paper shipping and display container

A folded food carton is formed from a matable, lay flat blank for retaining, transporting and serving hot food such as pizza. The blank includes an arrangement of end panels, side panels and cover panels foldable relative to a bottom panel such that, in the erected carton, the cover panels overlap and are interlocked with the side panels by means of offset locking tabs. The end panels slant upwardly and inwardly from the bottom panel to add rigidity and save material for the carton. The side panels flare upwardly and outwardly from the bottom panel and extend above the cover panels to enhance stackability and prevent shifting of stacked cartons one on top of the other. Several methods of packaging pizza in the folded carton are disclosed.

Pizza box

A divisible shipping platform apparatus for supporting and transporting loads, in which the apparatus is easily divided into multiple independent shipping platform units for subsequent transporting and handling loads. The divisible shipping platform apparatus comprises a platform member separated from a bottom panel member by a series of pylons. The platform member and bottom panel member are constructed with one or more frangibility lines dividing the platform member and bottom panel member into divisible regions. Inasmuch as those frangibility lines and divisible regions are substantially aligned, independent shipping platform units may be separated from the divisible shipping platform apparatus upon exertion of a force on the divisible regions and, in turn, the frangibility lines. Pylon sleeves, substantially corresponding to the configuration of the platform member and bottom panel member divisible regions, may be associated with the pylons to facilitate division of the divisible shipping platform apparatus and to provide increased structural integrity for the independent shipping platform units. The divisible shipping platform may also be constructed with multiple, independent bottom panels corresponding to each platform member divisible region, or no bottom panel at all. Likewise, the divisible shipping platform may be constructed of a substantially unitary paperboard blank.

Divisible shipping platform apparatus

A container apparatus convertible from a shipping container having two or more adjacent trays into one or more display trays for the display of articles therewithin. The apparatus includes at least two trays and a tray cover. Each of the two trays includes a front panel, a back panel, two side panels and a bottom panel. Upon articulation, the height of the two side panels is greater than the height of at least one of the front and back panels. The tray cover includes two end panels, with at least one end panel having at least one tab member for positioning between the articles and at least one of the front and back panels, respectively, to secure the tray cover within each of the at least two trays.

The present invention is directed to a container apparatus and method for packaging contoured articles, particularly contoured articles containing hazardous substances. The container apparatus comprises a base member, upstanding sidewall members foldably emanating from the edges of the base member, and an article retaining member foldably emanating from the top edge of at least one of the sidewall members. The article retaining member is positionable toward and into the inner region of the container so as to form an acute angle with the sidewall from which it emanates. The article retaining member further includes an article retention edge to engage, stabilize, and prevent undesired movement of the contoured article(s) housed within the interior region of the container apparatus. In particular, the article retaining member prevents migration of the contoured articles in a vertical plane, in a horizontal plane, and in a rotational direction. Preferably, the container apparatus is constructed from a substantially unitary paperboard blank, and may include a dividing member for compartmentalizing the inner region of the container apparatus.

Container and method for packaging contoured articles

A substantially recyclable shipping platform apparatus for supporting and transporting loads, in which the apparatus is easily disposable and recyclable after use. A plurality of substantially elongated pylons are attached between a top platform and a bottom panel to increase the integrity of the apparatus to more effectively support the load material placed upon the platform. The bottom panel is constructed with articulateable flaps which are used to secure the pylons to the bottom panel. Each of these flaps are configured to maximize contact with, and stability of, the pylons, and are further configured to correspond to the specific shape of the interior region of each respective pylon they are attached to. A tear strip may be embedded within the platform and/or bottom panel for purposes of reducing the overall size of the apparatus when disposal is desired.

Shipping platform apparatus

A corner protector apparatus for providing protection for the corner areas of substantially flat, rectangular, parallelpiped structures is provided. The corner protector apparatus includes one or more pairs of corner protector structures cooperatively formed from a single blank of suitable shock absorbing protective material which corner protector structures are advantageously configured to be readily separated for deployment and positioning upon respective corners of such a substantially flat rectangular parallelpiped structure for the facilitated covering and protection of same.

A shipping container apparatus is provided which, upon opening, may be converted to a display apparatus for items shipped and contained therewithin the shipping container. The convertible shipping container--display apparatus includes a cover configured for facilitated opening, to permit access to and viewing of the goods shipped and contained therein.
