A database of high risk locations is formed and high risk causal factors for the high risk locations determined. Driver behavior is monitored at the sites in the database using data collection devices such as electronic logging devices or mobile phones to see if the drivers exhibit the same specific behaviors that are considered contributing factors to specific accident types at risk of occurrence at those sites. Warnings are provided to drivers approaching the specific sites to prompt behavioral changes which may further be monitored by the data collection devices.

Contextual driver behavior monitoring

A dynamic integration framework allows property data to be dynamically influenced by external data sources. In one example, a client services component receives, from a client application, a request to create or edit an object. The client services component retrieves, from a content repository, an initial property set applicable to the object. An external data service specifies an initial property modification set based on property dependencies between controlling property values and dependent properties. The external data service provides the property modifications to the client services component with an initial data identifier that indicates a state of the property modifications. The client services component merges the initial property modifications and the initial data identifier with the initial property set.

Dynamic property data integration framework

A computer-implemented method of analyzing a workflow is provided. The method can include generating a multi-stage workflow representation corresponding to a physical process, the representation defining for each stage of the workflow at least one activity performed during the process. The method also can include associating at least one activity-based cost with each activity performed during the process, and estimating a distribution of costs over the stages of the workflow based on cost data generated by repeated execution of the process. The method can further include determining, based upon the estimated distribution of costs, whether a cost imbalance is associated with at least one stage of the workflow.

Process analysis, simulation, and optimization based on activity-based cost information

A method of credentialing network-based sources of information, commentary, and opinion is provided. The method includes receiving a request for recognition, the request received by a credential clearinghouse (CCH) from at least one credential-granting organization (CGO), and, in response to the request for recognition, granting recognition to the CGO if the CGO is determined by the CCH to satisfy a predetermined standard of credibility. The method further includes, after the CGO is granted recognition, receiving from a user entity a request for a credential granted by the CGO, and granting the credential if the user entity is determined to satisfy a predetermined set of credentialing benchmarks. Additionally, the method includes posting on a publicly-accessible data communications network site an object comprising at least one among information content, commentary, and opinion, the object being associated with the user entity and including an indicator indicating the grant of the credential.

System and methods for credentialing on-line information providers

A computer-implemented method, apparatus, and computer readable storage medium encapsulate user interface components that collect data for a case management solution, while consistently enforcing metadata and constraints. Multiple types of interactive documents are supported, and a configuration indicates the type whose user interface components are to be encapsulated. A wrapper widget is created based on the interactive document type and implements an interface that enables it to interact externally with the case management environment and internally with the interactive document. The wrapper widget injects case property data values, metadata and/or constraints from the case management environment into the interactive document, which then enables editing of the case property data values and the effecting of the metadata and/or enforcing of the constraints. The wrapper widget is responsive to requests from the case management environment to validate and persist the interactive document to a case of the case management solution.

Method of encapsulating diverse user interface components while consistently enforcing external constraints

A method is provided that includes receiving a request at a server from a client device to configure a form associated with a workflow step. The form is of a form type that supports a set of features. The method also includes identifying a form tool of a plurality of form tools that is compatible with the form type. In addition, the method includes generating form feature discovery instructions via a form integration framework application programming interface (API). The form integration framework API utilizes a common set of instructions adapted to direct the plurality of form tools. Further, the method includes providing a set of user interfaces via the form integration framework to the client device based at least in part on form feature data provided via the form tool. The set of user interfaces is adapted to configure the form to generate a configured form.

System and method of integrating a plurality of form related workflow tools

A method () and a system () for applying digital signatures (, and) to translated content (and other content) can include a presentation () and a user interface presented on the presentation device. The system can further include at least one processor () that operates to create () the user interface in a first language as part of an application, enables () the entering of data into the user interface and the digital signing of the data by a first user, translates () the user interface to at least a second language, and presents () the data to at least a second user using the application. Method and apparatus for applying digital signatures to translated content

Techniques for ensuring the security of forms data are disclosed. The layout for a particular form is signed separately from the data used to fill out the form using encryption techniques. The signed data is related to the signed layout in a way which permits the layout to be changed without requiring the data to be changed while still guaranteeing that a changed layout does not change the original meaning of the signed data.
