A header with associated lubricator is for fluid handling at the wellhead of an oil and gas well where a plunger/lubricator lift system is deployed, and provides a novel compact lubricator with attached header which can replace a conventional wellhead flow-tee without modifying or moving other wellhead equipment to accommodate the new lubricator and header replacing the old flow-tee. A sub seal is provided at the header/lubricator attachment(s). The header with associated lubricator encloses a conduit with seals in the attachment interfaces between the header and lubricator or between the header and exit attachment means, where the conduit may also comprise a means of flow restriction through machined geometry or by retaining a reduced diameter or valve component through various means of attachment. The flow restrictor means may also be serviced via service access means provided in the header or lubricator exterior wall.

Compact lubricator and header system

A plunger with expandable mating pad elements arrayed circumferentially about the plunger's body sealed to the plunger and biased to expand the plunger assembly's outer circumferential surface toward the inner surface of the tubular within which the plunger assembly is designed to operate. The gaps between the pad elements are minimized by having the adjacent pad elements slidable against each other along two sets of surfaces along essentially the length of the interface between adjacent pad elements, one surface set being approximately axial to the plunger and the other set being approximately radial to the plunger's longitudinal axis, and in this way reducing the available pathway in the gap between adjacent pad elements for fluid to bypass the plunger assembly.

A lubricator is provided which has a unitized body with at least one port in communication with the body's bore and its outer surface, to which port(s) connectors with different outer fittings for further connection to other equipment may be attached and sealed, and later detached and replaced with other connectors. The connectors may have different outer fittings or may be a plug or valve. This allows the connection of a single port to external equipment to be changed and the fitting for that external equipment's connection to be altered, without having to disconnect the lubricator from its well-head and stem or any of the lubricator's other connections.

Lubricator with interchangeable ports

A fishing reel housing for attachment to a rod along a longitudinal rod axis. The housing has a shaft for accepting a central bore of a line dispensing spool and an adjustment mechanism for selectively adjusting the shaft in position transversely away from the rod axis while maintaining its position along the rod axis. The fishing reel housing includes an adjustable line retainer assembly which moves a line retainer radially outwardly from the shaft as the adjustment mechanism is selectively adjusted. A fishing reel comprises the adjustable line retainer and reel housing with a spool with a central bore mounted thereon.
