An arrangement verification apparatus that makes it possible to shorten a time it takes to complete a failure/no-failure test on the arrangement of control circuits that control block circuits is provided. The arrangement verification apparatus arranges block circuits to be controlled comprising a semiconductor device and control circuits that control the block circuits over a predetermined floor and conducts a failure/no-failure test on the arrangement of the control circuits. The arrangement verification apparatus includes: a floor plan generation unit that arranges block circuits over a floor based on circuit specifications; a grouping generation unit that hierarchically groups the block circuits arranged over the floor and control circuits described in the circuit specifications based on a predetermined requirement to generate a group tree; a control circuit arrangement unit that arranges the control circuits over the floor according to a predetermined condition and the group tree generated at the grouping generation unit; and a failure/no-failure test unit that conducts a failure/no-failure test on the arrangement of the control circuits by the control circuit arrangement unit.

A computing device has a rounding processor that inputs therein a set of plural (K) input data INthrough INK comprising z bits. Power consumption of a mobile terminal is suppressed by regulating a data transmission rate, depending on a residual amount of battery power. Battery holding times and maximum data transmission rates are stored in a table. A battery holding time calculation unit calculates an estimated battery holding time on the basis of a residual amount of battery power detected by a battery residual amount detection unit and transmission power information generated by the transmission power control unit. A comparison unit reads out from the table the maximum data transmission rate which corresponds to the estimated battery holding time, and compares the read-out maximum data transmission rate with the data transmission rate to be used by the mobile terminal. By using a lower data transmission rate obtained as the comparison result, a call request is made by the mobile terminal.

The base station includes: a base station receive unit receiving the upward data; a base station transmit unit transmitting the downward data to the mobile unit; and a detecting unit detecting the upward data amount. The base station controls the data transfer rate to perform communication at the data transfer rate designated by the mobile communication terminal apparatus.

The invention provides a mobile radio communication method which can transmit one or more kinds of service information determined in advance for individual mobile terminals by an interrupt to mobile terminals during communication and besides at arbitrary different points of time without the necessity for separate preparation of a channel exclusive use for transmission of interrupt information. Subscriber information of individual mobile terminals including respective service information identification codes are registered in advance in a subscriber file. An exchange reads out, from within the subscriber file, subscriber information corresponding to each mobile terminal during communication and transmits the service information identification code together with communication information over a communication channel from the base station. After the mobile terminal switches the channel to be used from the communication channel to a control channel, service information designated by the service information identification code is transmitted together with control information from the base station to the mobile terminal.

Mobile radio communication method

A transmitting apparatus transmits at least one of a main and a supplementary modulated signal in response to a transmitting signal. The apparatus includes a first modulating circuit for modulating the transmitting signal in a main modulation system to produce the main modulated signal. The apparatus also includes a second modulating circuit for modulating the transmitting signal in a supplementary modulation system to produce the supplementary modulated signal. The apparatus further includes a selective supplying circuit for selectively supplying the transmitting signal to at least one of the first and second modulating systems.
