An exhaust system for a motorcycle has a bent portion that extends upward from a position below a seat toward the seat and is then bent downward. A heat insulating plate is disposed in a space between the bent portion and the seat so as to cover the bent portion. Influence of exhaust heat on the rider and upsizing of the heat insulating plate are thereby suppressed.

Motorcycle

A vehicle with an engine connection. The vehicle further includes an engine, a rear wheel and a rear suspension that absorbs an impact when the rear wheel moves vertically. The engine connection has a front end connected to a rear surface of the engine, and a coil-shaped portion provided between the rear suspension and the rear wheel. A front end of the coil-shaped portion is connected to a rear end of the engine connection. The exhaust pipe is configured to enable division into the engine connection and the coil-shaped portion.

Exhaust pipe for a vehicle

The motorcycle is provided in an embodiment with a vehicle body frame, an engine, and an exhaust pipe connected to the engine. The vehicle body frame has a front frame supporting at least a part of the engine, a left rear frame connected to the front frame and extending rearward of a vehicle body on the left with a center of a vehicle in a horizontal direction as a basis, and a right rear frame extending rearward of the vehicle body on the right. The exhaust pipe has at least a crossing part partially crossing the center of the vehicle in the horizontal direction with a first supporting member mounting a left part of the crossing part to the left rear frame on the left and a second supporting member mounting the right part of the crossing part to the right rear frame on the right.
