A card-type device that includes an antenna body disposed on a housing and movable along a turning shaft between an upright position and a flat position. An antenna turning member applies an urging force to the antenna body in a direction in which the antenna body turns to the upright position. A locking projection projecting and a corresponding locking portion which is fitted to the locking projection when the antenna body is in the flat position, stops the antenna body from turning. When the antenna body moves in a direction in which the antenna body is to be unlocked, the locking projection is released from the locking portion, and the antenna body automatically turns toward the upright position by the urging force of the antenna turning member.

Card-type device

A shield case is fixed to a surface of a circuit board with a conductive joining material so as to cover a shielded portion on the circuit board surface. The shield case includes joint terminals extending outward and inclined upward from a lower edge thereof that is in contact with the circuit board surface. The joint terminals are joined to the circuit board surface with the conductive joining material provided therebetween. The shield case can thereby be fixed to the circuit board surface, and grounded to a ground portion provided on the circuit board.

Shield case

In a card device having a circuit substrate housed in a card casing and an antenna disposed rotatably on the exterior of the card casing, an antenna rotary shaft composed of a conductive material is provided at the base end of the antenna. The antenna rotary shaft extends from the exterior to the interior of the card casing along a substrate surface of the circuit substrate via a through hole of the card casing in such a manner that the antenna rotary shaft is supported rotatably by the card casing while being elevated from the circuit substrate. A section of the circuit substrate that is opposed to the antenna rotary shaft has a feeding terminal fixed thereto. The feeding terminal has a pair of antenna-rotary-shaft elastically-pressing portions that sandwich and electrically contact the antenna rotary shaft from opposite sides with elastic forces in a surface-contact fashion.

Antennas for card devices

A shield structure having a plurality of hollow columnar base members arranged with intervals therebetween along the periphery of a section to be shielded on a surface of a circuit board, and a shield cover with a peripheral wall having insertion pieces arranged along the edge thereof at positions corresponding to the positions where the base members are arranged. Each base member has a cut in at least a top surface thereof. The cut forms an elastically deformable tongue portion having a free end at a position where the corresponding insertion piece of the shield cover is inserted. The tongue portion is elastically deformed toward the inner space of the base member by an insertion force applied when the corresponding insertion piece of the shield cover is inserted into the cut at the free end. The tongue portion functions as an elastic holding portion that retains and fixes the shield cover on the base member by applying an elastic resilient force such that the free end thereof presses against the insertion piece of the shield cover.

Shield structure

A card device includes a card casing accommodating a circuit board. The card device is capable of being inserted into and pulled out from a card slot in an apparatus in which the card device is to be mounted. An anti-slipping member is anchored and exposed at a rear-end wall portion of a peripheral wall of the card casing for being held at least when the card device is inserted or pulled out. The rear-end wall portion is positioned at a rear end of the card device opposite to the end of the card device that is inserted into the card slot.

Card device

A card device includes a card case, a circuit board disposed in the card case, and an antenna rotatably disposed on the outside of the card case. An antenna rotating shaft is disposed on the base end of the antenna and inserted from the outside into the inside of the card case through a through-hole of the card case such that the antenna rotating shaft extends along the surface of the circuit board and is supported within the card case with the inner part of the antenna rotating shaft being spaced apart from the circuit board and the antenna rotating shaft being freely rotatable. A feed terminal having elasticity that urges the feed terminal against the antenna rotating shaft is disposed between the antenna rotating shaft and a part of the circuit board facing the antenna rotating shaft. The feed terminal is fixed to an antenna connection part of a circuit formed on the circuit board facing the antenna rotating shaft. The feed terminal is urged by its elasticity into contact with the antenna rotating shaft.

An appearance protective case and an appearance protective case assembly are provided in which damage of a colored or marked pattern due to exposure is prevented, and in which the structure of a formed member having the colored or marked pattern printed thereon is made simple so that the formed member is easily incorporated into the appearance protective case. The appearance protective case includes a sheet-like formed member formed by draw-processing a sheet-like member treated with coloring or marking and a transparent or translucent cover case, and is assembled by fitting the sheet-like formed member into the cover case such that the sheet-like formed member extends in close contact with the inner surface of the cover case.

An information card includes a ground plate that is connected to a ground conductor portion of a printed substrate and is integral with an external panel. Plural contacts are provided with the ground plate, and are exposed at the upper side out of windows provided in the external panel. Lead terminals are extended from the ground plate and are integral therewith, and the tips of the lead terminals are soldered to the ground conductor portion of the printed substrate.

An interface card includes data transmission routes which allow for data transmission in a plurality of data transmission modes and a mode selection switch for selecting a data transmission mode from the plurality of modes. With the interface card, a user is able to select an optimal data transmission mode for the environment.

A film molded casing includes a transparent or translucent film molded member having a printed layer provided on the inner surface thereof so as to define the place of an illumination display, and a casing inside of which a lens for guiding light of an inner light source to the appearance surface thereof is integrally formed with the casing using a light-permeable resin, in which a light transmitting area is integrally formed with the casing so as to be contiguous with the lenses, and on the inner surface of which a light-impermeable printed layer is provided. In this film molded casing, the light transmitting area is matched to the light transmitting area of the film molded member.

Film molded casing

A compact flash (CF) card includes, in a front portion, a space-entering portion that enters the space between a top plate and a bottom plate provided on the upper and lower sides of connecting terminal pins arranged at the front end of a CF-card storage section of a PC card adapter. The connecting terminal pins are protected by the top plate and the bottom plate. The CF card storage section of the PC card adapter has an opening in the upper surface on the card insertion side. An upper portion of the CF card that is exposed from the opening includes a tall portion having a greater height than the space-entering portion. The CF card can be loaded in a PC card adapter having a simple structure, and taller electronic components can be mounted in the tall portion, than in a CF card which is equal in height to the space-entering portion over the entire range from the front end to the rear end.

Compact flash card

A card shaped casing includes a member having a construction such that a front panel or a back panel are unitarily formed. This member, for example, a back-panel combined frame, is constructed of a resin, etc. Accordingly, the number of expensive metal panels having adhesive layers and insulating layers, which are necessary for forming the casing, is reduced.

Two types of bonding layers having different chemical components and different chemical and/or physical properties are alternately formed in a bonding layer forming region. An exemplary combination of the two types of bonding layers includes a bonding layer which is resistant to high-temperature environments and another bonding layer which is resistant to impacts. A product having such a bonding surface structure is resistant to both high-temperature environments and impacts and has a highly stable bonding structure.

A connector device includes lock male screws which can be screwed to lock female screws of an apparatus on which a locking operation is carried out, nuts for freely inserting the lock male screws and for allowing movement of the lock male screws between a screwed position and a non-screwed position, and lock female screws which, with the lock male screws being retracted to the non-screwed positions, are screwed to the nuts, and which are screwed to lock male screws of the apparatus on which a locking operation is carried out. By switching the states of the lock female screws between a mounting state and a non-mounting state with respect to the nuts, the lock screws of the connector device can be used even if the forms of the lock screws change with respect to the connector device. This causes the female connector and the male connector to be firmly secured together, thereby making the connector device more versatile.

An interface cable allows the number of components and manufacturing costs to be reduced. The interface cable has a housing defining an inner volume which has an opening. A first connector is removably connectable to one of a computer and a portable terminal. The first connector protrudes through the opening in the housing. An interface circuit is coupled to the first connector in which the interface circuit is located within the housing. A cable is coupled to the interface circuit. A second connector is removably connectable to the other of the computer and the portable terminal.
