A winch utility includes a main body, the main body including a shell, the shell defining an enclosure; an electric motor mounted to and contained within at least a portion of the shell; a controller attached to an inner part of the shell and in electronic communication with the electric motor; and a bobbin coupled to the electric motor; and a cable coupled to the bobbin at a bobbin end, the cable defining a terminal end distal to the bobbin end, the cable arranged to be coiled around the bobbin by rotation of the electric motor, wherein the terminal end of the cable is arranged outside of the shell, wherein the controller is configured to instruct the electric motor.

Winch utility

A winch utility includes a shelf connected to a main body, the main body comprising a shell, the shell defining a cable port; an electric motor mounted to the shell; a controller attached to an inner part of the shell and in electronic communication with the electric motor; a bobbin coupled to the electric motor; and a cable coupled to the bobbin at a bobbin end, the cable defining a terminal end distal to the bobbin end, the cable arranged to be coiled around the bobbin by rotation of the electric motor, wherein at least a portion of the cable is arranged within the cable port and wherein the terminal end of the cable is arranged outside of the shell, wherein the controller instructs the electric motor, and wherein motion of the electric motor causes the cable to become one of: coiled around the bobbin and uncoiled from the bobbin.

A modular military vehicle and a method for using a modular military vehicle is disclosed. The modular military vehicle can comprise a vehicle hull; a crew module removably mounted to the vehicle hull; a plurality of wheels mounted to the vehicle hull, the plurality of wheels comprising at least one driven wheel; and an electric drive system configured to drive the at least one driven wheel.

A bale splitter attachment for use with a bale including a frame including a frame base and a cutting arm rotatably connected to the frame base at a pivot, the rotatable cutting arm including an elongate blade, the frame base and the rotatable cutting arm together defining a bay to receive the bale; a powered actuation device including a first end connected to the frame base and a second end connected to the rotatable cutting arm at a connection point, the powered actuation device arranged to apply cutting force in a pulling arrangement; and a hook apparatus connected to the frame, the hook apparatus including a plurality of hooks.

Bale splitting attachment

An apparatus for splitting bales and retaining wrap includes a frame having an interior framework oriented at an angle relative to forwardly-projecting tines, the framework and tines together defining an upwardly-opening cradle that supports and centers a bale of forage bound with a wrap above an inverted apex of the cradle. The apparatus also includes an elongate hooking mechanism extending laterally across the underside of the wrapped bale and configured to capture the wrap together with a thin layer of forage, and an elongate blade rotatably supported on the frame and configured to rotate downward through the bale toward the inverted apex of the cradle. The apparatus further includes a first actuation device that activates the hooking mechanism to capture the wrap and layer of forage, and one or more second actuation devices that rotate the elongate blade downward through the forage to split the bale.
