The invention relates to novel &pgr;-complex compounds of transitional metals. The novel &pgr;-complex compounds are suitable for use as catalysts for the (co)polymerization of olefins, cyclo-olefins, alkynes, diolefins, vinyl ester and vinyl aromatics.
