A plastic pipe consisting of an outer corrugated plastic pipe and an inner smooth wall consisting of a wear resistant elastomer, particularly a thermoplastic rubber fixed in the inner bottoms wave valleys to said outer corrugated pipe. The inner wall consists of a pipe which has been coextruded with the outer corrugated pipe so that the inner and outer pipe are heat welded to each other. The cavities between the inner pipe and the corrugations may be filled with a foam plastic. This plastic pipe is used for repairing or renewing a sewage pipe by installing such a pipe from a vertical shaft of the sewage system into the sewage pipes. The interstices between the outer side of the corrugation and the inner side of the sewage pipe may be filled with a mortar.

A conducting plastic pipe system comprising a male plastic pipe part and a female plastic pipe part with conducting covering layers which are interconnected by means of a conducting sealing ring between the male and female part. The invention relates to a sandwich tube comprising an inner and an outer fiber reinforced layer of thermosetting resin and an intermediate layer therebetween consisting of inorganic filler material coated with thermosetting resin and obtained by spraying a finely divided resin into a case of loosely laid inorganic filler material. A non woven is present between the intermediate layer and the outer fiber reinforced layer.

A method and device for forming grooves in a thermoplastic pipe, by surrounding said pipe with a mould having one or more grooves in its interior wall and positioning one or two annular chambers into said pipe, a flexible sealing circular body being sealingly movable in said chamber, and the outer circumference of said body in its free state being substantially equal to the inner circumference of the mould part facing said ring minus about twice the wall thickness of the pipe in its final state. The circular body can be retracted into the annular chamber which is provided with a bottom part having a clover-leaf-like cross section, the circumference of said cross section being substantially equal to the inner circumference of said circular body.

The invention relates to a method for providing a thermoplastic pipe with an inner groove, by subjecting a heat plasticized pipe to the action of some rotatably supported deforming rollers which are expanded and rotated by means of a mandril. A relative rotating motion between said deforming rollers and the pipe is maintained until the pipe is no longer permanently deformable and the relatieve rotating motion is maintained to strengthen the walls of said groove.
