The present disclosure relates to a flexible display device, and more particularly, a flexible display device includes a display panel, and a cover member which is disposed on the display panel and includes a thin glass and an adhesive member disposed so as to enclose the thin glass, at this time, the adhesive member includes a first adhesive member disposed so as to enclose an upper surface and a side surface of the thin glass and a second adhesive member disposed on a lower surface of the thin glass. According to the present disclosure, the flexible display device disposes a protective film above the cover member to provide a scattering suppressing effect and improve a surface hardness, a compression characteristic, the impact resistance and folding characteristic.

Flexible display device

A display device includes a display panel having a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, and a decorative film disposed on the display panel. The decorative film includes a porous layer disposed on the display panel and including a plurality of pores, and a decorative layer which overlaps the non-display area and is disposed in the porous layer. Accordingly, the decorative layer which is partially disposed is formed in the porous layer so that a step caused by the decorative layer is not formed or minimized to reduce the thickness of the decorative film. As a result, the design the display device can be slim, and a flexible display device with an excellent folding reliability can be provided based on the display device.

Display device

A cover window includes a first layer having a first modulus, a second layer disposed on the first layer and having a second modulus smaller than the first modulus, and a third layer disposed on the second layer and having a third modulus equal to or larger than the first modulus, and in which the third layer includes a nanoparticle-polyurethane complex in which polyurethane is bonded with nanoparticles by a covalent bond. Therefore, the cover window of the present disclosure provides effects that the folding and rolling are possible with excellent surface characteristic and the restorability against the pressing and excellent optical property. A flexible display device may include the cover window.

Cover window and flexible display device having the same

A foldable display device includes a display panel which includes a folding area and non-folding areas on some sides of the folding area, and a hinge unit which is disposed in an area corresponding to the folding area below the display panel to in-fold or out-fold the display panel. The hinge unit includes a plurality of rotary shafts and a plurality of coupling links disposed between the plurality of rotary shafts. Accordingly, the foldable display device can be bi-directionally (e.g., inwardly or outwardly) folded by the hinge unit with a simple structure. Further, a radius of curvature during the folding can be desirably changed by adjusting a component of the hinge unit, for example, a number of the plurality of rotary shafts and the plurality of coupling links, a cross-sectional length, and the like.

Foldable display device

A display device includes a display panel, a back plate disposed below the display panel, and a deformation prevention structure disposed below the back plate. The display panel, the back plate, and the deformation prevention structure are bendable in at least one bendable area. The deformation prevention structure has higher modulus than either the display panel or the back plate in the at least one bendable area. The display device is not deformed even after being repeatedly bent.

Bendable display device having improved flatness and damage prevention

A foldable display device includes a display panel configured to be folded around a folding axis. The display panel includes spacers disposed in a non-folding area and a folding area, and the spacers may have different sizes or densities. Dimensions of the spacers may be in a direction of the folding axis or intersect the direction of the folding axis. The display panel also includes pixels in an active area that overlap with the spacers, which may help reduce peeling, cracking, defects, or reduction in pixel brightness due to folding of the display device.
