A cooking apparatus is disclosed, which comprises a first housing provided with an inverter for induction heating; and a second housing including a working coil to which a current supplied from the inverter is transferred, heated as a container for receiving cooking food is arranged thereon, wherein the first housing and the second housing constitute spaces detached from each other.

Cooking apparatus

A container support is disclosed. The container support is operated in conjunction with an induction heating unit, which is disposed beneath a table and generates a magnetic field, and includes a plate for supporting a cooking container placed thereon, a manipulation unit provided at a portion of the plate so as to receive control commands from a user, and a signal-transmitting part provided at a portion of the plate so as to transmit electric signals to the induction heating unit.

Cooking device

A cooking device is described. The cooking device includes a main body. The cooking device includes a ventilation apparatus that is located at a lower side of the main body, that is configured to suck air into the main body, and that is configured to discharge air from the main body. The ventilation apparatus includes a base that is connected to the lower side of the main body and that includes an introduction port. The ventilation apparatus includes a swirler that is configured to generate suction by rotating air around the introduction port of the base and that includes a plurality of wings. The ventilation apparatus includes a driving unit that is configured to rotate the swirler. The ventilation apparatus includes a swirler guide that is configured to cover an underside of the swirler and that is configured to guide a flow of air around a center of the swirler.

Cooking device and ventilation apparatus

A cooker includes a steam generator that supplies steam into a cooking chamber of the cooker. The steam generator includes a heating chamber having a heating space; a steam discharge port through which steam in the heating space is discharged; a residual water discharge port through which steam water in the heating space is discharged; a heater that heats the heating space; and a residual water discharge pipe connected with the residual water discharge port and that selectively discharges steam water from the heating space to an outside. A first end of the residual water discharge pipe is connected with the residual water discharge port, a second end of the residual water discharge pipe is arranged lower than the residual water discharge port, and a portion of the residual water discharge pipe between the first and second ends is arranged higher than the residual water discharge port.

An induction heating device is disclosed. The induction heating device includes a working coil for creating a magnetic field for induction of eddy currents in cooking equipment so as to heat the cooking equipment, a power supply unit for providing induction voltage to operate the working coil, and a case for accommodating the power supply unit and the working coil. The case includes a first case and a second case, and the first case and the second case define therebetween an insertion space into which a plate is fitted.

The oven includes a cabinet having a chamber, a door to open or close the cabinet, a rack assembly including an operating member to support a cooking object seated thereon, the operating member being removable from the chamber, and a support member fixed inside the chamber to support the operating member, and a spring device including a first fixing piece located at the operating member, a second fixing piece located at the support member, and an elastic member having one side connected to the first fixing piece and the other side connected to the second fixing piece and located in a vertical gap between the operating member and the support member so as to be elastically restored by a distance between the first and second fixing pieces to remove the operating member from the chamber.

Provided herein are a cooking apparatus and an operating method thereof. The cooking apparatus includes a cavity, a microwave generator to generate and output microwaves of a plurality of frequencies to heat an object within the cavity, and a controller to calculate interpolated microwave frequencies for a heating session, based on microwave frequencies calculated during a scanning session, and to calculate heating times of the interpolated microwave frequencies. Thereby, operating efficiency of the cooking apparatus is improved.
