Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform a multi-stage overlap (e.g., conflict) resolution procedure based on a scheduling overlap between one or more repetitions of a first uplink control information (UCI) and one or more overlapping uplink transmissions having a different priority than the first UCI. The procedure may include a first stage based on a different starting slot index or UCI type between overlapping UCIs having a same priority, a second stage based on overlap resolution between the first UCI and an additional UCI, and a third stage based on overlap resolution between the first UCI and an uplink data transmission. The UE may selectively drop one or more of the overlapping UCIs or uplink transmissions and transmit at least a portion of the first UCI or the one or more overlapping uplink transmissions according to the procedure.

Managing overlap between uplink control channel repetitions and uplink data transmissions

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates a first control resource set (CORESET) configured for a first category of UEs and a second CORESET configured for a second category of UEs with which the UE is associated, wherein the first CORESET has a first frequency domain resource allocation, and wherein the second CORESET overlaps in time with the first CORESET and has a second frequency domain resource allocation that is a subset of the first frequency domain resource allocation. The UE may monitor for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate based at least in part on a determination that the PDCCH candidate is fully contained within the second frequency domain resource allocation. Physical downlink control channel coexistence for different user equipment categories

Energy harvesting (EH)-capable devices may harvest energy from different sources, such as a radio frequency sources or environmental conditions such as solar energy. The consumed energy by the EH-capable device may be dependent on a task type and the properties of the EH-capable device. Processing of data symbols, demodulation reference signal symbols, and control symbols may involve different energy costs at the EH-capable device. An EH-capable device configured with multiple slot formats may report to the network the immediate energy status and capabilities of the EH-capable device and/or respective energy costs for the EH-capable device for each of the slot formats. The network may schedule communications involving the EH-capable device (e.g., sidelink communications, uplink communications, or downlink communications) based on the energy costs for the EH-capable device for the multiple slot formats and/or the energy status of the EH-capable device.

Slot formats and transmission types for energy harvesting-capable devices

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, control signaling that includes sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration information associated with an increased quantity of SRS ports. The SRS configuration information may include a quantity of symbols via which to transmit SRSs, a frequency resource comb for each respective symbol, and a threshold quantity of cyclic shifts. The UE may map a first subset of SRS ports to a first symbol and map a second subset of SRS ports to a second symbol. The UE may transmit, and the network entity receive, the SRSs using the first subset of SRS ports via the first symbol according to a first frequency resource comb and respective cyclic shifts and using the second subset of SRS ports via the second symbol according to a second frequency resource comb and respective cyclic shifts.

The UE behavior may include, for example, no impact on sidelink activity when the network link is in a dormant or network energy saving (NES) mode, discontinuation of sidelink operation when the BWP is configured with a dormant or NES operation mode, or sidelink operation only in an identified sidelink mode when the BWP is configured with a dormant or NES operation mode. The sidelink operation mode based on NES mode of a network link BWP may be signaled to the UE on a per-BWP basis, or based on configuration and separate indication when a BWP is enabled.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for improving a beam failure recovery procedure when control channel monitoring adaptions are enabled. An example method includes receiving, from a network entity, configuration information comprising at least one of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring skipping configuration or a search space (SS) set group (SSSG) switching configuration, detecting a beam failure of a beam used for communicating with the network entity, and in response to the detected beam failure, taking one or more actions to monitor a beam failure recovery (BFR) SS set for a BFR response from the network entity based, in part, on the configuration information.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may perform one or more operations for receive antenna switching. For example, a UE may receive a set of reference signals from a base station using one or more ports of the UE. Based on receiving the set of reference signals, the UE may generate channel state information (CSI) associated with a set of antenna ports. In some cases, the UE may generate CSI based on receiving a configuration indicating the set of antenna ports. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a CSI report including the CSI information associated with the set of antenna ports and an indication of the associated antenna ports. The base station may receive the CSI report and may communicate with the UE using a set of precoders associated with the set of indicated antennas ports.

Channel state feedback for receive antenna switching

Generally, the described techniques at a user equipment (UE) provide for efficiently identifying a dormancy state of a secondary cell (SCell) configured for communications with a base station. A UE may be configured with a duration of time for which an SCell is to be in an indicated dormancy state. Accordingly, when the UE receives an indication of a dormancy state for an SCell, the UE may determine that the SCell is in the indicated dormancy state for the duration of time. The UE may also be configured with a default dormancy state of the SCell. Thus, after the duration of time expires, the UE may determine that the SCell is in the default dormancy state (e.g., the UE may fall back to the default dormancy of the SCell after the duration of time expires).

Configuration for secondary cell dormancy indications

A configuration to enable a base station to schedule cross carrier scheduling of uplink and/or downlink transmissions using a DCI. The apparatus transmits, to a UE, a PDCCH including a cross carrier schedule. The PDCCH comprises DCI configured to schedule an uplink transmission or a downlink transmission. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for multiple timing advance offsets that may be used in communications between wireless devices on a wireless communications system. A first timing advance offset may be a fixed offset that has a predetermined value or is selected from a set of available predetermined values, and a second timing advance offset may be adjustable by a wireless device. The second timing advance offset may be used in cases where relatively large distances between wireless devices are present in a system, where certain fixed timing advances are used in addition to or irrespective of a receiving devices propagation delay, where one or more parent nodes have an associated timing reference, or combinations thereof.

A discontinuous reception (DRX) periodicity may be configured to enable monitoring of a reference signal (RS) for RLM procedures. For example, a transmitting device may configure a DRX periodicity for an RS, where the configured DRX periodicity may include a periodicity of discrete transmissions of the RS or a periodicity of a transmission window in which the RS is located. Accordingly, a receiving device may identify the DRX periodicity and monitor radio link quality using the RS based on the DRX periodicity.
