Compositions for topical administration to a user's skin that provide a number of dermatological benefits are described. The compositions include a unique combination of vitamins and additional ingredients that work together to increase skin firmness and decrease wrinkles.

A method of treating skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to a person's skin a composition comprising 0.0001% to 5% w/w of a hydrolyzed algae extract comprising exopolysaccharides from, and 0.0001% to 5% w/w of a saccharide isomerate comprising an exopolysaccharide synthesized by, wherein at least one of skin permeability is decreased, filaggrin production is increased, skin moisture is increased, occludin production is increased, or TNFα production is inhibited in the skin.
